Chapter 18 (Final)

Y/N's Pov

"Come on, hurry up!" I giggled and ran up the stairs while holding Yoongi's hand. Once we reached the door of my apartment, I stopped and searched in my pockets for the keys.

"What is even going on?" Yoongi said and breathed heavily. He is not the athletic type of guy, you know.

"You're gonna love this!" I said and unlocked the door. Then, I ran past Yoongi, towards the living room.

Yoongi's Pov

"Hey, wait." I closed the door and began following Y/N's path. Before I could enter the living room, a dark fluffy ball jumped onto me and climbed up my shoulder.

"Help, I'm under attack!" I yelled as Lily nibbled at my ear with her tiny sharp teeth. "Ouch!" I said and lowered the cub to my chest.

"Yoongs?" I heard a voice calling from inside a room.
"Coming!" I answered and finally entered the room with Lily in my arms. As soon as I walked inside, I felt my jaw dropping to the ground.

Y/N's Pov

"Ta-daaa~!" I said enthusiastically.

Behind me where a tall Christmas tree with plenty of festive items and lights everywhere on it. It literally made the whole room shine. Also, I had hung red socks on the fireplace.

Two cups of hot chocolate were placed in front of the fireplace which radiated warmth. I had so much fun preparing all of this for Yoongi. Actually, it was a little tiring… But I don't care. It filled me with joy and satisfaction.

"..So? Do you like it?" I said softly.

Yoongi's Pov

"No." I said.

Y/N's eyes widened instantly and Lily jumped down from my arms. Her tail stopped wiggling, even though she didn't understand us.

"I..-" Y/N started but I stopped her from talking and hugged her tightly.

"I love it." I whispered in her ear and caressed her face. Her eyes lit up and she let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you so much baby." I added.

"You scared me there..." Y/N laughed. "But it doesn't matter.. Let's go!" She grabbed my hand once more and led me to the fireplace.

We sat down the soft carpet and drank some of our chocolate while chatting. We finally had some spare time to talk and unbottle our feelings. Honestly, we have never had the chance to sit down and talk as a couple due to our work and schedule. We talked about the experiences we've had so far and laughed a lot.

"Remember the first time we saw each other? You looked so lost.. I would have never thought that we would experience so many things together." I confessed.

"I thought you were scary!" She explained. "Turns out you're as harmless as a cub...OUCH!" Y/N gasped as Lily bit into her foot. I fell back, laughing.

"It's not funny!" She whined and pushed me.
"That's what you get. Go, Lily!" I let out a war scream and began tickling Y/N while the small-sized fox climbed on her and licked her cheek.

"Stop it!" She said in-between giggles.
"We have killed the Princess! Thanks for helping me, fearless soldier!" I said and patted Lily's head.

Suddenly, a pillow hit my face and I fell back in suprise. Y/N climbed on me and let out an evil laugh. "Mwahahaha!! The evil Princess won the battle!" She said and lowered her face to kiss me on the cheek. I blushed a little and smiled.

Y/N's Pov

"And now, I will--"
"Shhhh…" Yoongi shushed me and pointed behind us. As I turned back, I saw Lily sleeping under the Christmas tree, curled up in a ball.

"Aww.." I whispered but Yoongi turned my face back to him with his hand.
"I have a gift for you too.." He raised his eyebrows. "Close your eyes.."

I did as he said and when I opened them, I noticed he was holding a mistletoe above us.
"All I want for Christmas is you~." He smirked and kissed me on the lips.

"Merry Christmas, baby."
"Merry Christmas..." I purred and hid my blushing face on his chest as we laid together in front of the fireplace, feeling warm and safe with the boy of my dreams.
