Chapter 8: Invitation...

Baris's POV

I was standing at the balcony of my room, placing my hands on the railing...

After the day that Leonard confronted me, instead of pulling us apart, it made us even closer. Like the relationship of brothers. To be honest, when he brought his face closer to my face the other day on the roof of the school, my heart was racing. AND  I hope he did not hear anything. 

"Eh, bro!" Elijah hit my shoulder from behind, "what are you thinking?"

"Nothing..." I replied. 

"Oh right, Halloween is around the corner do you want to go with the Traditions?" Elijah asked. 

Tradition for the 3 of us every Halloween was to visit the Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios, ever since I was back. These years we would have the 3 of us with Pensri and some of her friends. 

"Sure... Err... I would like to invite some Juniors too, then we can interact better..." I said. To be honest, the main person I would like to invite was only Leonard. 

"That's a good idea. But its just the ticket would be expensive for some of them, maybe we can check then we head along?" Elijah asked. 

"Yeah sure..." I replied Elijah as I turned around, heading for my room door. 

"Going somewhere?" Elijah asked. 

"Yeah, get something. You can choose to stay or leave, but I will be back soon..." I said as I left my room. 

I was so eager to invite Leonard with me to this Halloween Event, it would be the first outing with someone I really want next to me. I walked really quick to the first level and looked for Room 1314. I don't know why I remember his room number, but I did remember knocking onto a room number with someone opening the room so raw, unwashed face and messy hair, in front of me. 

I stood in front of the door, thinking if I should knock. I wanted to knock, but I held back...

What should I say... Leonard, would you like to be invited to the Halloween Horror Nights with me and my friends? No... No... No... This won't work... how about... Leonard, would you like to go out with me? WAIT! nono... He would feel weird. We just got close!! How about... Leonard, would you like to celebrate Halloween? Er... Er...

As I was walking back and forth thinking about how to tell Leonard about this, his room door opened!

"Baris? Hi Baris! Why are you standing at the door, and not knocking on the door?" Jayden asked, "looking for Leonard?" 

I looked at Jayden blankly as I felt so awkward and embarrassed. I quickly replied, "No nothing! I was planning to head to Pensri room! I think I will go off first! BYE!" As I finished my sentence, I dashed in the direction of Pensri's Room. As I was making the turn into the corridor of her room. 

"BANG!" I hit into someone! The both of us were knocked down to the ground. As I recover myself from the fall, I look up and see who it was... IT WAS LEONARD! and next to him was EARTH!! Oh shit! I stood up and said sorry before running towards Pensri's Room. 

"isn't that Baris? Where is he rushing to?" Earth asked curiously. 

"I don't know... Maybe to Pensri's Room?" Leonard replied. 

As I reached Room 1341, I knocked on the door vigorously. 

"HOLD ON!!" Pensri shouted from inside... "What can I help..." Pensri said as she opened the room's door. I did not let her complete her sentence and I pushed her in and shut the door and leaned against the door. My heart was racing...
