a/n: Thanks for 350 reads, you guys are killing it! Okay, this chapter has taken a huge time jump to the events taking place after Flashback, and any other book in the future. We can call this perspective, "Future Sophie," if you will. I hope you enjoy!

*Future Sophie's POV

Scenes of defeating the Neverseen once and for all played on repeat through Sophie's mind. It almost seemed like a dream. But it wasn't.

She was free.

The sun rays weaved through the blinds of her room and hit her eyes, causing them to flutter open.

"Good morning, Sunshine."

Keefe's lovely voice traveled through her consciousness, sending a warm shiver down her spine. She looked into his deep blue eyes, searching for any pain or hurt. But there was none, just glints of life and happiness. Wait...

Sophie yelled, "Keefe!"

Keefe smiled, "What, sunshine?"

"What are you doing in my bed? You're not supposed to be her--"

Keefe pressed his lips against hers, interrupting her rant. "Don't worry about it, Foster."

Sophie returned his kiss, enjoying the feeling of warmth spread around her body. She and Keefe had started dating after they had defeated the Neverseen. Her heart fluttered whenever she thought that Keefe was actually her boyfriend. And surprisingly, Fitz didn't seem too upset when she announced their relationship to her friends.

Dex and Biana had gotten together recently, and she was so happy that Dex had gotten a girlfriend. Fitz, on the other hand, was still single--but looking. She could tell by all the glances and winks between him and Linh, that they were hooking up.

She smiled again, remembering that they were free. She could now have a normal life, after imprisoning the whole Neverseen. But a memory kept tugging at her mind, unsettling her constantly. Keefe reminded her that she could always erase it from her mind, but she would rather just have it wiped from the timeline entirely.

Keefe broke away from their cuddling. "Shall we go get some breakfast?"

"Yes, darling."

They jumped out of Sophie's massive bed and headed downstairs. They held hands, greeting Edaline.

Edaline smiled, "I always forget how cute you guys are," she exclaimed, making both of their faces turn a bright red, "Do you guys want some Blitzenberry Muffins?"

Keefe laughed, "Yeah, your muffins are the best!"

The couple moved to the kitchen table and bit into the golden muffins. Spritzes of flavor burst into Sophie's mouth, as the blitzenberries popped and fizzed. "Wow Mom, you really outdid yourself," Sophie announced.

BANG!

"Sorry I'm late guys, Verdi wouldn't eat the swazzle leaves that the Gnomes harvested."

Grady brushed some feathers off of his cape, joining the table. Sophie jumped off her seat, hugging Grady. "Dad, I missed you so much!"

Grady laughed, "I missed you too Sophie, the Council really didn't know what they assigned when they sent me off for two weeks. And Keefe? What are you doing here?"

Keefe stood up next to Sophie, grabbing her hand. "Well. Sophie and I started dating a couple weeks ago!"

Sophie could hear Edaline's snicker when Grady's jaw dropped. "Well, to be honest with you, I rooted for Sokeefe after I heard how much he cared about you. That's great Soph!"

Sophie and Keefe sighed of relief in unison. Grady smiled with them, but then frowned. "But what about the matchmaking lists, what did I tell you about dating without your lists?!"

"Well actually," Sophie reassured him, "We got our lists. And Keefe was my number one!"

"And Sophie," Keefe smiled at Sophie, "Was my number three."

Grady also shared a sigh of relief. "Well, congrats! I approve."

Sophie took another bite of her muffin as Keefe replied, "Thanks, Grady."

They almost finished their breakfasts when Sophie got a call from her Imparter. She answered the call, "Sophieeeeeeeeeee! I have something great to tell you! Come to Everglen as soon as your finished at Havenfield. And tell Keefe too!"

Sophie replied, "Whoa, okay Biana! I'll see you in 15 minutes!"

Biana excitingly nodded, "Okay, see you!"

Sophie clicked off her Imparter, telling the group, "Alright, I guess that's my cue to get ready, love you Mom and Dad!"

Sophie and Keefe walked back up the stairs to Sophie's room. Keefe fell onto her couch. "Alright, I should go to Candleshade to get ready, see you love."

It was a lot better for Keefe at Candleshade. Lord Cassius was trying to become a better father for Keefe, and that made Keefe feel much better about his life.

Sophie smiled as Keefe held up his Pathfinder, "Bye Keefe."

And with that, Keefe lept away. Sophie stripped off her clothes, throwing on her best outfit in her wardrobe--a red ruffled dress with a golden cape and black leggings. She brushed her teeth, and styled her hair into a simple braid, in memory of Calla. Sophie hurried up to Havenfield's Leapmater.

She called out, "Everglen!"

The warmth of the sun from the leap swept away any glance of the horrible memory as she glittered away.

As soon as Sophie rang the bell on Everglen's gates, the massive gates swung open. Alden's crisp accent welcomed Sophie, "Hey Sophie. It's weird to be letting you in, you usually have a catastrophic leap into here."

Sophie smirked, "Yeah, sorry..."

Alden laughed, "Don't worry, I need more drama in my life anyway!"

They walked up the beautiful landscaping of Everglen, having a pleasant conversation. "Well," Alden opened the door for them, "This is where I leave you. All of your friends are here already, and they are waiting for you."

"Bye, Alden."

"Until next time, Sophie."

Alden turned towards his bedroom, and Sophie walked the other way, too Biana's room. An abrupt invisible force pushed her forward. "Come on Sophie! This is important," Biana yelled excitingly.

"Okay, okay!"

Sophie ran after Biana, following her into her room. She sat down on a plushy, pink beanbag next to Keefe. Sophie smiled as she saw Biana and Dex holding hands on a couch. Fitz also sat close to Linh, but not close enough. Tam sat in the corner, clearly seeing he was left out.

Biana cleared her throat, "Okay guys. I did a lot of research with Dex this weekend. We found something," Biana pointed to Sophie, "That would help with Sophie's problem..."

Sophie's heart raced, was this about her want to erase the kidnapping from existence? Dex seemed to catch onto Sophie's emotions, "Yes Sophie, we found a way to stop our kidnapping from happening."

a/n: I'm sorry guys, but that's it for this chapter. I hate to leave cliffhangers, but sometimes I like too! MWHAAHHAAAH! See you guys next week!
