Juliet's POV
I woke up in the middle of the night.
My eyes hurt, and my body was stiff.
I was in my outfit I wore earlier that day.First I took a shower, then I put on plaid pajama pants, and a black tank top.
I grabbed my phone and checked the time. It was 3am.
I slept for the whole day..?
I walked to the living room, and Matt was asleep on the couch.
"Matt.." I shook him.
"What..?" He groaned.
"Get up." I whispered. He opened his eyes.
"Hey, you're awake." He smiled.
"Yup. I'm awake." I said.
I went to the kitchen, and Matt followed.
"Want anything to eat?" I asked, looking in my fridge.
He bumped me by the hip, I laughed and he looked inside. He opened my freezer.
"Yay!" He got out the ice cream. I laughed and got out two spoons.
"You know what would be cool?" I asked.
"What?"
"Have Hayes and Lesley over." I said as I dug into my ice cream.
I got chocolate chip cookie dough, Matt got chocolate.
"It's 3am." Matt said.
"That didn't stop Hayes from taking me to the Empire State Building." I said.
"True." Matt said as he went through the door and into his apartment.
"What are you doing?" I yelled.
He came back with his penny board.
"We're going to skate to Hayes's and Lesley's place." Matt said.
I went to my room, put on chestnut Uggs, and grabbed my pastel penny board. I put my hair up into a ponytail.
"Okay, let's go." I said as we went out the door.
We rode our skateboards to Hayes's house.
"What do you think, knock on the door, or go up on the fire escape?" I asked.
We both looked at each other."Fire escape." We both said.
We climbed up the ladder and we stood on the fire escape. I opened his window and climbed inside, Matt stayed outside. I shook Hayes awake.
He was sweating, and shaking.
"No.." Hayes whispered.
"Hayes?" I shook him.
"No!" He screamed louder. He's having a nightmare.
"Hayes wake up!" I said.
His eyes shot open, he realized who I was and he hugged me.
"Juliet! I'm so glad you're here." He looked at me.
"Is everything okay?" I asked.
"I just had a bad dream. What's up? What are you doing here?" He asked.
"I want you to come with me. Grab your skateboard." I smiled as he got up, put on a sweatshirt, and grabbed his penny board and we climbed out of his window. Then we rode to Lesley's house.
She doesn't have a fire escape, so we tried to open the door. It was locked.
"Luckily, I know where they keep the spare key." I smiled as I went to a small fountain on the side of her house,
grabbed the key taped under it, and put it in the door knob.
