*Juliet's pov*

My mom came home from work.

"Hi dear." She smiled and yawned.

"You must be tired." I said without making eye contact.

"I'm going to bed but I wanted to let you know that we're going to have people over for dinner tomorrow so please don't make any plans. This is very important to me." She said as she shut her bedroom door.

I sighed and waited a little while until I walked outside.

I knocked on Matt's door.

He answered.

"Yes?" He said.

I looked behind him and Nash and Cam were over.

"Can I come in?" I asked.

"Sure."

He let me through and I sat on the ground in front of Nash and Cam.

"How are you doing?" Nash asked.

"Better." I sighed.

"You realize that we're here to help?" He asked.

"Of course, but I just can't believe my mom has lied to me this entire time." I said.

"You know you can stay here if you want to." Matt said.

"I think I might but I can't, my mom wants me to not have any plans because she's having people over." I sighed.

"Who cares? It's your house too, you could also leave whenever you want to." Matt said.

"True but where would I go? Your place?" I laughed.

"You could always go to my place." Nash said.

"Or mine." Cam joined in.

"Sounds tempting, but I'll think about it. I want to see who these people are." I said.

"How come?" Cam asked.

"Because I haven't had real people over since I was 10." I said.

"Must be someone special." Nash shrugged.

"I don't know." I said.

Matt unlocked the kitchen door.

"You should get some sleep." Matt said.

I hugged everyone and walked into my kitchen.

I grabbed a banana and ate it.

After I went into my room, changed into pajamas, and let sleep over.

****next morning****

I woke up and got out of bed.

It was a week before thanksgiving and I went to the bathroom to take a shower.

I put on light blue jeans, black knit Uggs, a black sweater that has the ACDC logo on it.

I went out, grabbed an apple, and walked into Matt's apartment.

I checked the time on my phone, it was 9:30.

I scanned my eyes around the room, and Cam and Nash were sleeping on the couch. I walked over and shook Cam awake.

He opened his eyes, realized it was me, then shut them again.

"Cam! Wake up!" I whisper-shouted.

"Why wake me up so early?" He asked.

"It's not even that early!" I exclaimed.

He groaned, and checked his phone.

I groaned even louder and sat in front of him.
