It was reported that Jay Z let her listen to a couple of Ashanti's demos when she was first starting out and she laughed at them, Jay asked her why she was laughing and she replied "Are you serious? What is this?", but she only thought her records were wack. This could also be a rumour as we have no clue if this is true or not.
