When Diane & Michael first found out about Aaliyah's death, they were getting her apartment set up for when she arrived home, and Diane got a phone call from Aaliyah's choreographer Fatima rang Diane, and couldn't find the words to say to her and Diane kept asking her to tell her and Fatima couldn't believe that she was actually saying it, Fatima wanted to ring Diane because she didn't want them seeing it on the news. Then Diane rang Rashad, and Rashad was in Australia meeting with some of his friends, and Diane was in tears telling him, and Rashad's first reaction was to scream.
