Chapter Six

Niall's P.O.V.

        I'm kind of shocked that Skyler hugged me and said it was all alright. I mean she walked in on me wanking! That's so awkward. And really she seems so closed off, I'm surprised I got that hug. It was such a fantastic one though. We stood there for a good two minutes. It felt so right to have her held close to my chest. My stomach was doing flips when she put her face into my chest. I hope she didn't notice how fast my heart was racing. But unfortunately, one of the best moments of my life had to end. Liam was shouting up the steps and I could hear him running up towards the door. We both quickly broke apart from the hug right when the door started to move.

        "Hey, Sky. What do you want... Niall, what are you doing in here? I thought you were going to go take a nap?" Liam questioned. Damn it. I totally forgot I told the boys I was going to take a nap. Shit, how do I explain being in his sister's room? This is so damn sketchy.

        "I was um-" I trailed off. I honestly had no idea what the hell I was supposed to say.

        "I asked Niall to come in here to kill a spider. I didn't want to go all the way downstairs to come get you, because I thought that it would be gone by the time we got back up here. So, I got Ni here." Nice save Sky. I wouldn't of been able to just come up with a lie like that. Liam knows me too well.

        "Oh, um, okay... Anyways, Sky, what do you want for dinner?" Liam still looked at me suspiciously, but I just gave him a small shrug and smile.

        "Anything would be fine. Pizza, anything Li, it doesn't matter." Sky just smiled at him. God she was pretty.

        Niall, Jesus, think about something for two god damn seconds. She's only been here for like two hours and all you think about is her.

        Shit, I'm talking to myself. That's creepy.

        "Okay. I'm gonna go order a pizza then. Niall can you come with me so I know what you want?" Liam questioned. Shoot. No, I don't want to go with Liam. He definitely knows somethings up. Oh, god. I really don't want the protective big brother talk.

        "Uh, yeah, sure." With that we left the room. Skyler just stood there and giggled.

Liam's P.O.V.

        I'm not an idiot. There's obviously something going on here. Skyler has always been the type where she would do everything herself because she is so independent. So her answer about the spider was complete bullshit. And when I walked in her room, Niall looked so guilty and Sky just looked overjoyed. Not that I don't like to see her overjoyed, but it was so weird, because lately she's mostly just showed no emotion, except when she's angry.

        There's also the incident that happened at the front door. Niall was fine and then he looked up at my sister and totally lost his words. I've been around when he thinks a girl is attractive and becomes interested in her. He gets shy and gets embarrassed easily. And when he saw her, he just stood there and stared at her. I want my sister to be in a happy relationship. I think she deserves it. She's had such shitty boyfriends in the past and they always get her into drugs and partying and trouble. Niall also deserves a beautiful girlfriend. It's been so long since he's been in a good relationship, where the girl isn't just using him. I think they both deserve someone. I just didn't think I would believe that my baby sister and best mate would deserve each other.

        "Niall, I know that there wasn't any spider. What's going on? Do you fancy my little sister?" I stopped walking in the hallway. I didn't want to have this conversation with all the boys. So I led him into my bedroom so we can chat.

        "Uh, yeah, I mean I don't know, Liam." Niall began as he nervously scratched his neck. "I mean, god, Liam, your sister is absolutely drop dead gorgeous. Mate, I get butterflies when I talk to her, or even think about her. I think it's odd because I've only known her for like a few hours, but damn."

        "How did you end up in her room, Niall?" I kind of just want to scare Niall for the fun of it. Out of all the boys, I would be fine with Niall and Skyler being together. Harry is the only other single one, and it's not that I think he would hurt her, but knowing him, I just don't really feel comfortable with him being with Sky like that.

        "I um, she uh..." Niall rubbed his face. This is kind of amusing. Seeing him all nervous like this. "Okay, don't get mad at me. I was going to apologize for staring at her, and then when I walked in the room she was only in a towel and-"

        "NIALL JAMES HORAN! YOU STAYED IN THERE WHILE SHE WAS IN A TOWEL?" I wasn't necessarily mad. Again, just trying to scare the shit out of the lad.

        "No, no no no. I apologized and left right away. Well, I guess she wanted to come talk after she got dressed. And so she came into my room, but I was a bit preoccupied..." Niall trailed off. I think I know where this is going.

        "And what were you preoccupied with?" I'm going to die of laughter hear in a few seconds.

        "I was uh, I was having a wank." Niall looked at the ground. I couldn't help but burst into laughter. I know I should be pissed that my little sister saw Niall wanking, but it's too damn funny. She hasn't even been here a day and she's already walked in on a guy. Oh, Skyler. And I have lived with Niall long enough to know how he is. He isn't particularly quiet, so I don't know how Sky couldn't have known what he was doing, but I don't even care. I wouldn't be having this great laugh otherwise.

        "Liam! Why are you laughing it wasn't funny! I was so embarrassed! I went into her room, after finishing up, and apologized and she just hugged me and told me it was okay." Niall looked happy by the end of his sentence. Yeah, I approve of the relationship that is probably bound to happen. Might as well tell him.

        "I approve." I simply said.

        "What?"

        "Niall, I approve of the relationship that is most likely to happen between you and Sky. If any of the boys were to be with her, I would want it to be you. She deserves someone like you. I really think you could be a big part in helping to get the old Sky back. I could already see her. She was so giddy when I came into the room. That's how I knew something was up. Just don't hurt her alright? I don't want you and I to have a problem." I explained to him. Niall quickly pulled me into a hug.

        "Thank you, LiLi. I have no intentions of hurting her. I don't want to hurt baby Payne. I don't want the Payne Train to hurt me either. So I don't think we'll have a problem" Niall at first looked shocked when I told him. But now he just looks extremely overjoyed. I'm glad. I don't think he will intentionally hurt Sky. We'll just see how this goes.

Niall has permission! Eeeeeeeeek. I'm so excited. I don't even know if anyone's reading. I just like to be able to write my own story. It's kind of cool actually. So yeah. :) xx
