Chapter 7

 We were having breakfast, just me and Ryan. We were now officially a couple since last night. Both Lucy and Dan had gone to Tesco for around an hour. So we were alone. We were having pancakes with syrup, there were delicious.

Once we had finished, we put the plates in the dishwasher.

"So what do you want to do today?" Ryan said breaking the silence

" Eh, I don't know. Maybe a walk around the park with the blossom? " in my head I was secretly thinking your mum... I am the worst person on earth, whhyyyy!!!

"Yeah, sounds good. Shall we go get ready now? And then leave in about an hour?"

" Yeah. "

We both went up the stairs to get ready. I went into the bathroom and locked the door. I took a long shower drowning in thoughts and questions as usual. The only difference was that they were not guilty, remorseful, hurtful, unhealthy thoughts; they were happy thoughts. I wanted to be like this more often. It had only been one day of being in a relationship with someone I loved yet I felt like I was now a completely person in terms of how I thought. Although I was never as bad as Lucy, I was still pretty bad.

I finally decided to get out the shower and dry myself off. I got dressed then went to my bedroom to wait for Ryan. He was still getting ready... He was taking forever. I heard some footsteps coming nearer to my doorway. I had left my door open. I looked up and saw Ryan shirtless standing by my doorway. He had a pair of dark blue jeans on with black socks. I blushed and quickly looked back at my phone, pretending I didn't see him.

"I know you like it." He stated laughing

I didn't respond, I didn't know how to; and even if I did, I didn't know what to say. He walked over to my bed and flung himself onto it. I currently had a new york black and white duvet cover, and a grey mattress cover. He wrapped his arms around me. I still didn't know what to do. So I ignored it.

"Playing hard to get I see." He chuckled

Just as he said that, he started tickling me. I screamed. If he wasn't careful I would probably kick him, I was one of those dangerous people to tickle.

"Nooooooooo!!!" I wailed over and over again until he finally stopped .

"You need to finish getting ready so we can leave." I pointed out

" Yeah, I'll only be a minute or so. "

And with that he sauntered to his bedroom to finish getting dressed. I couldn't lie, he was pretty hot without a shirt, but that was too embarrassing to admit.

At that moment,I heard the front door unlock and two people come in laughing and chatting. It was Lucy and Dan. They had finished their shopping spree. Ryan came back into my room, with a shirt on this time.I

"I'm ready now. Are you?" He asked

" Yeah, shall we go now? " I asked him back

He nodded. We walked down the stairs and told the two love birds that we were going on a walk. They both nodded and continued their banter. Those two were defiantly perfect for each other. We were now walking down the street to the blossom tree park. I had nothing to say, he knew pretty much everything about me and vice versa. I had no gossip because we talked to each other everyday. How did Lucy and Dan know what to talk about? What even did they talk about?

I decided to keep quiet until we reached the park. It would be far quieter than the bustling noisy street we were accompanying each other down.

When we finally arrived to the park, we walked towards the centre of it, where there was a small lake with lily pads dotted all over it. The pink blossom trees swayed in the wind making rustling sounds. I could also hear the water fall from the man made marble waterfall. It was so calming; there was not another soul in sight. No cars beeping or grumbling. Just the calm noises of the park. Ryan and I took in the beauty that was right in front of us, just taking in the mystical magical scenery.

Ryan turned to look at me. We locked eyes, for what seemed centuries. I could stay like this forever. Just him and I.

"Not too bad for our first date, eh?" He whispered breaking the silence

I didn't reply. It wasn't a question to reply to. I continued to lock eyes with him. This was a date? Smooth Ryan smooth. I wasn't going to complain though. His eyes were more beautiful than ever. They were reflecting the baby pink trees. How could someone be this attractive? His amazing dark chocolate brown eyes starting back into mine. I couldn't remember what happened next, but we were soon kissing. This was even more perfect. Not even a romantic film would have something this perfect. We broke apart. Breathing heavily. He smiled widely at me and I returned it. I couldn't believe it. I was still in shock.

"Soooo. What do you want to do?" He enquired emphasising the you

"Have a little stroll?" I answered questioning

" Sure. "

We strolled round the park. I looked down at the ground. It was lush vibrant green grass. There was no path in this park, that was the beauty of it; you could walk where ever you wanted. Choosing your own path. I then glanced up at the sky, it was such a nice day today, hence why the sky was a deep shade of blue. We sauntered some more, looking at the colourful pastel flowers that were planted here and there. There was also a bamboo and rose that we walked through. Though I had never ever visited or been to Japan, this is what I thought it ought to look like. I felt as though I was living in a fairy tail. I wouldn't have changed this for the world.

We didn't really talk much. We just smiled, appreciating where we were. Just comfortable silence. We were now walking back home from our relaxing experience. We became a couple yesterday, we had our first kiss together today. What was instore for tomorrow? But most importantly, where would this journey take us?

We got back home, sighing and kicking our shoes off. Lucy grinned widely at me. Something had happened. Dan soon enough came and stood next to her. I never really took in Dan's appearance as I was always caught up with Ryan. Like Ryan, Dan had deep brown eyes. The only difference was that they had a glint of mischievousness in them. He had dark brown curly hair parted to the left side of his head. He was extremely tall. Ryan was tall ish but Dan was around six foot three. Dan wore a baggy oversized black jumper with red writing paired with a pair of black ripped jeans. He had the same aesthetic as Lucy. She too wore baggy oversized jumpers with a pair of black ripped jeans. I didn't really take a fancy to him although I could see why she did. Lucy was well known in our family to always fall for an idiot. I didn't really know Dan enough to know if he was one or not, but knowing Lucy, he probably was.

I sighed again, I was now tired and it was only one pm. Dan and my cousin were talking to each other again. I listened for a bit. They were talking about Tumblr and memes. Typical Lucy. I should get to know this Dan a bit more, I was suspicious; like every best friend or cousin, I had to make sure that he wouldn't break her heart like the other guys she had previously dated had done. I did have a good feeling about him, that he would be the right one for her. Hence why I didn't question it earlier. I finally decided to move. I went up the stairs and into my bedroom. Ryan was lying on my bed, he looked quite tired too. He opened his arms for me to hug him. I walked over to my bed and lay on top of him. He wrapped his arms around my body. His warm body heating me up slightly. Within five minutes Ryan was asleep, breathing steadily. Soon afterwards I started to feel myself slowly drift into a peaceful sleep.
