❝DISTURBANCE❞
"WANNA go somewhere else rather than this place?" jeongguk asked already bored with the restaurant taehyung had picked. he's been to this particular restaurant for about more than 10 times already.
"come on! i love this place! even if i have only been here once i still love this place!" taehyung exclaimed. jeongguk huffed and crossed his arms.
"ya but-" someone cut jeongguk of.
"well, well, well. look who we have here. a depressed taehyung and the normal human being jeongguk. first, jeongguk why are you here? aren't you supposed to be with your friends at this time? second of all, why is the little-depressed boy here? in a fancy restaurant?" the stranger said.
jeongguk saw taehyung bite his lip to prevent it from trembling and tears from falling. bravely, jeongguk demanded, "show yourself. whoever you are."
the said person scoffed and revealed himself.
"h-hyunjin?" jeongguk asked surprised clearly evident in his voice.
hyunjin rolled his eyes and smirked, "of course it's me. what do you expect? me to be kind to this freak?"
taehyung let his bottom lip go and tears started to freely fall from his eyes. jeongguk saw the glistening tears and immediately turned to wipe taehyung's tears away.
"hyunjin-ah. i thought you were a kind boy? what happened to you?" jeongguk asked softly.
"nothing happened to me. i just want to know why that freak is here with you. i thought you hated him. you even called him a freak in the class didn't you." hyunjin said. jeongguk was mad. his jaw tightened and was about to beat the shit out of hyunjin when a small voice spoke.
"don't. please. don't fight in front of me. i don't want any violence..." taehyung spoke in a small voice.
jeongguk's eyes soften and said, "we won't. i'll just... go and talk to hyunjin for awhile ok?"
taehyung nodded and sat on a bench nearby. jeongguk pulled hyunjin away from taehyung's sight and pushed him.
"don't you ever come and say things like that in front of him. he's a kind guy and he's not a freak. i take back everything i said and you cannot change a single thing about him. got it?" jeongguk threatened and hyunjin put his arms up playfully.
"promise." hyunjin smirked and started to walk away.
jeongguk watched him leave and walked back to where taehyung was. the boy was crying when jeongguk reached him.
taehyung sniffled and said, "i-i thought he w-wouldn't b-be here a-at this time... i-i thought it's w-was gonna be the t-two of us here but i t-thought wrong..."
"taehyung. whatever he said to you was... the past ok? i did call you a freak once but it was the past. long before i knew you were... this." jeongguk pointed to taehyung's whole body which made the other giggle.
"i-i don't feel hungry anymore... wanna walk back to your place this time?" taehyung asked softly and jeongguk nodded.
they both walked peacefully in the dark, not caring about how their hands brushed together, how their shoulders touched each other lightly.
it was a perfect night and taehyung can't ask for more.
but jeongguk can't help but think that hyunjin might hurt taehyung again.
