V was shocked to say at least. he wasn't responsive in the kiss and he didn't move at all. v started to feel a bit drowsy and soon enough, he was back to the original taehyung.
jeongguk didn't even realised that taehyung has already returned since his eyes were closed.
taehyung can observe jeongguk's clear face. his beauty, his scar on his cheek, his everything. and that's when taehyung started to kiss back.
mouths moving with each other in a slowly, yet sensual pace. jeongguk got addicted and pulled taehyung even closer to him. taehyung smiled into the kiss before grabbing jeongguk waist, pulling them even closer.

lips, tongues, and teeth colliding.
everything seems to be so... dreamy.
after what seems like a long time, they both pulled away due to the lack of breath. jeongguk's face was flushed with red and taehyung smiled at him.
"thank you. thank you. thank you." taehyung whispered before connecting their foreheads together. jeongguk smiled softly before closing his eyes.
"you're welcome... i just, i can't believe that i am the one that helped you through that rough time. i just- i love you taehyung..." jeongguk confessed.
taehyung froze. he has never heard those words come out after a long time and now he's hearing it from jeongguk, the boy who can help him.
taehyung soon relaxed and said, "i love you too koo..."
they both separated and smiled at each other lovingly. taehyung took jeongguk's small hands and intertwined it with his.
taehyung felt complete. after a long fucking time, he has finally felt complete and not afraid of his own self. he finally felt as if he has a reason to be alive in this world he lives in. even if he has to change into another creature, he finally felt as if he's free. with jeongguk right beside him.
"you helped me overcome that hardest part of my lifetime. koo... thank you." taehyung muttered as tears fell down on his cheeks.
jeongguk slowly wiped the tears off taehyung's face and smiled.
"i am very grateful to be the one that can help you. now, we should head downstairs. the others might be worried about us." jeongguk said softly and taehyung smiled.
but everyone knows that every story has a little plot twist in it...
