❝HELPING HAND.❞
"JIN-HYUNG!" jeongguk yelled once they reached the restaurant taehyung didn't know of. the oldest could only gape at the restaurant standing in front of him.
it looks magnificent; everything seems to be luxurious in front of taehyung's eyes (but his own house seems like it's way cheaper than this restaurant he's seeing). there is a chandelier in the middle of the room, glowing brightly like diamonds. the chairs seem like it's made of some fancy wood, the tables decorated with marble.
"this is jin-hyung's restaurant?!" taehyung exclaimed. jeongguk nodded and smiled proudly, making it seem like he's boasting his friend's success (forgetting that taehyung is also friends with jin).
"i know right! this- this mansion seems to look like a house but it's a restaurant! and we should be lucky that we are friends with jin-hyung! many people tried to befriend him but it always ends up with jin-hyung saying, 'nah... you're way too overrated for me' which is funny." jeongguk chuckled at the end.
taehyung smiled fondly at jeongguk and reached his hand out for jeongguk to take. the latter took his hand and grasped it tightly.
they both walked inside the restaurant, the air was cold but the warmth of their hands clasped together makes it seem like its summer.
"hey, guys! how's it doing?" jimin asked, something he rarely asks to jeongguk; which means jimin rarely asked him about his life. jeongguk rolled his eyes.
"we're doing fine thank you. this is weird because i never hear you asking me about that stuff." jeongguk snapped. jimin playfully raised his arms up, backing away slowly and then started running for his life while screaming, "min yoongi! help your baby mochi! a wild bunny is going to eat me and gobble me up slowly!"
taehyung giggled, the sound echoed in the now empty restaurant. jin had maybe closed the whole restaurant to help decorate the place for christmas.
"there you guys are!" jin showed up so sudden that taehyung and jeongguk actually bumped into each other and almost knock down a chair. "come and help me! jimin and hoseok is going crazy and they're going to wreck my whole place up! we were planning to only put down a christmas tree but decided not to because i wanted to decorate the whole place and not just one corner." jeongguk and taehyung nodded, putting the chair back to its original place.
jin was right about the place being a total disaster. everything was literally on the floor, jimin and hoseok laughing loudly while throwing pieces of broken things at each other.
"jimin! hoseok! stop this right now!" jin roared in anger and both boys stopped immediately. jimin pouted and walked towards yoongi who had his arms opened, ready for jimin to hug him.
hoseok's eyes were wide opened, he hasn't heard jin yell at him or anyone close to him in particular.
"s-sorry jin-hyung! w-we were ju-just messing around r-right jiminie?" hoseok asked nervously and jimin nodded frantically, while yoongi wrapped an arm around his waist.
"you little snitch! come back here and repair every fucking thing!" jin yelled and chased the two with a spatula (plastic) in his hands.
this is the definition of a perfect friendship, taehyung would say...
