Year 11 Trigledonn High School

"Hey Anna" Joy cried out from across the hall. "Hey Joy" I replied. "How were your holidays? Anyone ask you out" Joy sauntered over in my direction with a smug look on her face. I was about to answer her question when my boyfriend cut in "Yes actually, me!" Josh Standlix said and then he came over to me and cupped my face, kissing my forehead.

I grabbed my first period stuff and walked off to English Literature, with Joy by my side. I zoned out as soon as she started talking about how she was so proud but I insisted that I was only dating him for a little while. Completely ignoring my objections she went inside the classroom and selected two seats up the back for us. I willingly sat down and begin to explain other things to her but our teacher, Mrs Willis interrupted saying "Miss Joy Williams and Miss Anna Dock you both have detention, now stop talking"

We quickly went quiet and my cheeks were flushed a bright red, it seemed Mrs Willis took pity because she said "It's alright Anna you can be excused from your detention, but you will have to help me. Joy however, you do have to go to detention." I sighed with relief but I felt Joy looking at me. I could feel her jealousy slice right through the back of my head.

Later that day in lunch Josh sat down next to me and I just sat there playing with my food. I stared over at Xander and I searched his body. He had toned abs, I could see that through the way his shirt molded to them. Blonde hair covered his eyes that were a bold hazel. "Hello? Anna, are you in there?" "Yeah, YY-Yeah what is it Xander?" I stuttered. "what do you mean Xander?" Josh almost screamed at me. "Calm down, calm down" I told him, I just got stuck daydreaming... about my english Lit. story. Okay?"

He didn't believe me and now we're fighting, after 2 weeks of going out! Why am I still with him?

"Are you okay? What's up with you today?" Josh asked me, wrapping his arms around my waist. I shrugged them off and left.

I needed something to do, something to take my mind off all this and mostly something to let my stress out. I've been a little cranky and impatient lately, maybe I just need to wind up at a party and then absolutely smash myself. With that I walk to my car and head home.
