Chapter 18 - My Murder Story

It was lunch and I already had a detention for not having my school book, guess I forgot my locker key. Everyone was crying for Mia, she had been stabbed by someone, they all knew something else but all of them kept quiet when I was in the room.

I was very close to stabbing them too, no one was telling me. I just walked straight into the toilets and into a cubicle, sitting down and listening. One of them would forget I was sitting here, soon enough someone did.

"Did you hear about poor Mia? Stabbed by Josh Standlix! I mean poor Anna, she dated him and her brother is under arrest for accessory of murder! Plus Charlie somehow got mixed up into this, wasn't he dating Mia at the time?" They all began whispering quietly and I couldn't hear any more of their conversation.

I slowly let the news sink in as I heard it all, I had been dating Charlie and Josh, my brother was Jack. How did I seem to know all of them, even Mia. I had to admit it to myself some time so I guess now was the time.

*FLASHBACK*

"Mia, we've been doing this for nine nights in a row now! Do we have to do it again?" I asked Mia who was applying a thick coat of mascara as I leaned against the wall behind her. "Yes, Anna you do. It's for charity remember." she said while rolling her eyes and moving the mascara wand against her lashes. It was hilarious as she stabbed herself in her eye and I doubled over, rolling on the floor laughing.

"Anna, help! It hurts so much" I just laughed and waited for her to do it herself. Just then Josh walked in and bowed down to me "My dear lady, how are you?" he asked and I saw Mia suddenly flare with anger before slapping the mascara down on the table. "I'm doing fine, sir" I said while putting my hand out. He leant down and kissed it, Mia was just jealous that we were now dating and had the lead roles.

Mia sniggered when he left the room and then pushed me "Bitch! Josh should be mine" she yelled, her eyes were filled with jealousy, hatred and anger. I was getting scared as she slowly pulled her fist above my head and smashed it down. "How do you like that? You touch Josh again and I will kill you" she said, her words full of everything that her eyes were. Her body was stiff and poised, making me scared. She was the bully, but also head of the netball team. Well loved but a bitch, I would never cry for her.

She made my life hell for the next week and tried to make Josh cheat on me, he resisted and that just made me happier with him. She tried to hurt me again, I was terrified and never touched any of those dresses again. Every time I wore the dresses it haunted me and now I would feel her ghost's presence I swore to throw them away.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

I knew at that moment my plan just had to be modified, Charlie may not be back at school and neither was Josh but maybe I could make this work. Just maybe, I mean Joy was still here and I could do a couple of the steps. All that was necessary was some modification, not hard, right?

I wasn't going to let this affect me, Mia had been a bully and Josh, Charlie and Jack were accused of murder. They all knew me, the police would be after me soon surely. The period 5 bell rang and brought me away from my thoughts and I cursed under my breath as I realised everyone would see me.

"Uhh, hey Anna. What are you doing in here?" The girl that was talking before asked me. "Listening to you talk about Mia and her murder. Honestly, I won't cry for her. She was a bully and a bitch but the others, I couldn't care less about them." They all seemed shocked and I just sniggered, walking away towards my next class.
