I wake up quite slowly as usually. Its 11:42 am. The first day of school was a Friday, thank god, so it Saturday. I check my phone. 6 new messages from Emily:
Bestfriend:
"Hey"
"you better not be asleep"
"GET OUT OF BED YOU LAZY BUTT"
"BITCH IF YOU DONF WAKE UP IM GONNA GET A PLANE AND COME OVER AND KILL YOU"
"I love you"
"WHY TF ARENT ARENT YOU UP"
I reply saying "hey what do you want 😂". I also text Jacob: "Hey it's Audrey. We met at a concert last night. :)"
I get up and go get dressed in a short floral dress with lace in the back and some white converse. I went and checked my moms room. she was still asleep. I sat down on my couch and watched Netflix for a little while. I watched a movie called Stuck in Love. I was half way done when Jacob texted back:
"Oh hey! I know this is sudden and all, but are you busy next Friday?"
I wondered what he was implying. We had just met and he could be a serial killer for all I know. But I'm always careful and afraid. I'm tired of being like that. I wanna take a chance. throw caution to the wind. I replied:
"uhh no. :)"
I realised I had been sitting there for an hour and I was really hungry. I got up and went to the kitchen. I got out some white bread, Turkey, and American cheese. simple but so good. I slapped it all together not even bothering to get a plate and went to the kitchen table. I ate the sandwich while looking for a station to put on on pandora. I decided on the Ed Sheeran one. "You're Perfect" By: Jacob Whitesides popped up. I noticed that it said Jacob. I slightly smiled. how can I have a crush on someone I don't even know? I looked at the picture on the album cover. he kinda looked like the guy I met last night, but it was dark I doubt it's him I mean c'mon. The song was beautiful. I decided to buy it on iTunes. I heard a startling "ding! ding". it was Jacob:
"Well then will you go to dinner and a movie with me? maybe around 6:00 or 7:00?"
I quickly replied. I'm excited. I've felt alone for so long. I was praying someone would come to save me. could he be the one? maybe?:
"Of course I will. may you something? what is your full name?"
he answered immediately:
"Jacob Michael Whitesides."
