Chapter 3

It was 3:00 am and I was laying in bed wide awake and on my phone of course. I was texting Emily:

me:
"Guess what!! "
Bestfriend:
"What?! "
me:
" I have a date this Friday!"
Bestfriend:
"omg yay I'm so excited for you! is he cute? if he does anything to hurt you I will put him in his grave. "
me:
"yeah he's really cute!! I think he sings. we're going to dinner and a movie. you're gonna help pick out my outfit! haha"
Bestfriend:
"Okay awesome! it'll go great!"

I decided to go to sleep. I was out like a light.

I woke up in a panic. It was 9:00. I had dream this Jacob guy was really famous and then turned out to be an axe murderer. it was weird. I don't know where it came from. thank you, brain, for putting that in my head. what is today?
"Sunday" I said out loud.
I got up and took a long shower. The water flew down my body feeling submerged. I let the water incase me like a warm and cozy extra layer on my body. i washed my hair and face and finally got out. I wrapped myself in a towel and brushed my hair. I went into my dresser in my room. I pulled out my makeup bag. I quickly applied. then I picked out all my clothes. Black sweats, a pink t-shirt, and converse. my hair had already dried so I put it in a messy bun. I look homeless but I plan on staying home all day anyway.

I ran and cannon balled onto my bed. my sheets were soft and they felt good on my clean skin. I checked my phone. no new messages.

I decided to ask one of my friends if they wanted to go to Barnes and Noble with me and read and since there a Starbucks inside maybe we could go grab a snack and something to drink. I would have to change clothes and fix my hair but oh well. I decided on inviting Megan. Not many of my friends liked reading but I knew she did so i picked the perfect person.
I went to my room to pick out some clothes. I picked out a white v-neck shirt, a tan cardigan, jeans, and my tan uggs. I was really comfy even though I would still be cold outside because I was just wearing a cardigan. we were meeting at B&N.
I arrived the same time as megan and ran up to her in the parking lot. she was dress in a black Aeropostale hoodie jeans and converse.We hurried in shivering, Suddenly I saw Jacob. I didn't get the impression of him as being the type that liked books. I sent Megan over to get our drinks. I got a Pumpkin Spice Latte and she got a Vanilla Bean Frappe because she doesn't like coffee. I went over near Jacob and pretended to be browsing books making sure he could see me. i was too nervous to just say hi which is pitiful I know. I noticed he was browsing through really... feminine books. which was kind of odd.

"Oh hey audrey!" Jacob said. how was he so perfect? he didn't even seem to be trying.

"hey Jacob. um are you in the right section because..." I said awkwardly.

"oh haha. yeah I'm looking for a book for my little cousin. it's her birthday Tuesday. she loves books." he said a blushing a little.

he was cute when he blushed. I helped him find a book and then we went and sat in some comfy chairs. Megan had to leave because of an emergency with her older brother. I didn't press her about it. I just wished her luck an she was on her way. I decided not to get Starbucks. Jacob and I sat and talked forever. he had no flaws. he told me about his passion for singing and about his cats. He went on about his family and how amazing his little sister Sierra was. She seemed nice. He blew my mind. I wanted to stay there and talk to him forever. I felt like we had known each other our whole life's. he knew what to say and when to say it. eventually it was 8:00 and he had to go. I didn't want to leave but I needed to get home too and spend some time with my mom. he embraced me tightly. longer than normal people hug. I felt warm and cozy in his arms.
"Bye audrey." he said smoothly
I blushed "bye"

I drove home and my mom and I tried to watch a movie but I fell asleep in the middle. I was so happy. I didn't even really know him but I wanted to be with him. I fell asleep smiling
