One Year Later

I was covered in Oil as I was observing technological advancements. Apparently, Simawi's philosphers and intellegencia thought it would be a good idea to show me some of their new inventions. Some of which, used oil, which we thought previously had no value whatsoever. It's just a prototype, but since we're the only country with this kind of tech, it's pretty impressive.

It's been a year since I've met Alqamar, of course she can be a nuisannce at times but she's kinda like a best friend to me. Though she does have this wierd thing on every full moon she gets all hot and bothered. Which apparently affects the vessel holder at the same time.

"Miss (L/N)?" I turned around to see a young man with white hair and a turban on.

"Huh, is there something ya' need?" As I turned around I saw the stranger blush slightly before returning to a professional look.

"I'm Ja'Far, and I come from the kingdom of Sindria. I wish to speak with you as you are the Great Queen of Samawi." I looked myself up and down at my stained clothes and face as they were splotched with black oil.

"Heh, so I'm assuming that he wants me to join the alliance right?" I smiled towards him thoughtfully.

"Yes, but our king wishes to speak with you about other matters too, like how you came to rule?" I pulled out wine and nodded my head to show I was mentally present in the conversation as he continued. "Or maybe how your family has been affected by your come to power?" I stopped drinking and my eyebrows knitted together tightly thinking about it, causing Ja'far to go pale. "I-I'm sorry, that was out of line for me..." He looked apoligetically at me practically begging for forgiveness.

"Ah...it's alright. Anyway, care to join me for a drink?" I said as I help up a bottle of wine and took off my bandana simultaneously. He looked at me once more with a smile and sighed.

"I have a feeling you're going to get along with King Sinbad very well."

1 month later

yes, I know he is known for his womanizing, but I ended up accepting either way. I looked down to the wooden deck of the swaying ship in defeat. I guess an adventure wouldn't hurt, lately I've been waayyy to stick-up-the-assy.

"I'd have to say I agree with you on that one." Alqamar said in my ear, snickering slightly. Originally, I've been all about adventure, but since I've conquered Samawi, it's been super stressful.

"Oh shaddup' Alqa." I retorted back to her as she kept snickering and giggling. It was like this the whole boat ride until we reached Sindria. I looked at the area surrounding it like a kid in a candy store; full of wonder and excitement. as soon as we docked our boat  I leaped off the deck and checked out the market, which was full of exotic fruits and veggies, but most importantly...chocolate!!! Since Cacao beans aren't native to Samawi, it's considered a delicacy over there. Plus, I've always had a sweet tooth either way. I can't but feel someone is watching me though.... Ah whatever it's not like I care, and besides if it was something dangerous Alqa would have told me by now, right?

I wandered around the market looking for a sweet shop or some sort of establish my needs, but instead I bump into a large, lumber body.

"hello.."
