I walked down the isle of the palace while I was currently lost in thought. I wonder how my country is doing. I left my right hand man in charge while I was gone so it hadn't occurred to me that my country could very well be in turmoil. I was already twenty-three with no heir or husband to continue the (L/N) lineage. I felt the earth rumble beneath me. I whipped my head around and sprinted towards the main balcony to see what in the hell was going on.
"Sinbad!" I saw Sinbad Staring out into the vast ocean with a solemn expression while he was on the balcony surrounded by the 8 generals. I quickly made my way beside him. "What in the hell is going on?!"
"A Dungeon is appearing." He answered my question without even looking in my direction. The dungeon appeared as a long violet tower. I'd imagine that the country would be in a panic, but they all just stared in awe at it. It reminded me of my first dungeon capture.
"Sinbad, aren't you going to capture it?" I asked turning my head towards him again awaiting his answer.
"No, I can't enter anymore dungeons." His answer surprised me; could there possibly be a limit to how many dijins a person could have?
"So....who the fuck will then?" I asked grabbing the bridge of my nose in an annoyed manner.
"Well, I was hoping you would~!" I couldn't believe it. How could this man not even care about 61st dungeon appearing?! I mean, it's shocking to say the least.
"I guess I could try? To be honest, I have no fucking clue how I ended up capturing my first dungeon." I said sighing and continued, "I could very well die this time, since the first time was a mere whim."
"I believe in you." He stated confidently and leaned in to kiss my forehead. "We all believe in you." I blushed and turned my head to the side; embarrassed that the generals were watching him give out this loving gesture towards me.
"Hmph, whatever! I guess I'll just pack my shit up and go." I blushed and rushed off to gather rations and previsions. Pisti and Yamuraiha just giggled while the men of the group smiled warmly in my direction.
"Sinbad, you do know that she could easily surpass you, right?" Marsur spoke up which caught everyone's attention.
"Yes, I am well aware." Sinbad smirked and turned towards him, "Trust me, I would not waste my time on a woman who couldn't."
Meanwhile, I was wondering what I should wear to the dungeon. I decided on an outfit that didn't show too much skin with some armored shoulder pads. I put my favorite gloves on and headed out.
At the dungeon
I stood at the entrance feeling conflicted whether I really should go in. I mean, would if I couldn't leave it? Would if I failed and got killed?! My thoughts were interrupted by a strange man with a long blonde braid.
"Hello Miss (Y/N)." He smiled at me politely.
"Oh hello- WAIT A MINUTE! How the hell do you know my name?!" I shouted while he just stood there smiling at me. He was attractive, I'll give him that.
"Oh, please excuse me for not introducing myself! My name is Yunan, a traveler." I frowned slightly assuming he wanted to claim the dungeon.
"Uh huh...So Yunan, how did you know my name?" I asked him not letting my guard down.
"Well, it was a lucky guess I suppose." He smiled to me gently as Rukh surrounded him. I couldn't put my finger on it, but something about him seemed powerful. "Miss (Y/N), may I ask you something?"
"Huh...? Um, sure." I responded to him unsure.
"Why do you fight? Why do you need a dijin?" He asked me two questions at the same time.
"Um...well...I guess I want to protect my loved ones before anything else, but the main reason is..." I paused for a second giving some time into my words. "I want to prove to the world that I'm not useless or a waste of space." Yunan opened his eyes widely and opened his mouth to speak. "As selfish as that sounds, I wanna still help the people of this world." Yunan just smiled at me genuinely.
"I don't think it's selfish at all Ms. (Y/N). I actually really love your current dijin, one of my favorites. Alqamar is known for creating dark and secluded spaces!" I just chuckled slightly at his cuteness. He's certainly not my type, but he seems nice. "With that being said; please capture this dungeon." I stood in awe as the rukh appeared again as my facial expression turned into a determined smirk.
"You got it!" I turned away and started running towards the entrance. "Oh wait! Yunan thank you-" I turned to see Yunan, but I only found an empty space. "Where did he go?" I shrugged and rushed into the dungeon, being enveloped by the same darkness as I was a year ago. I landed in an area surrounded by pink ribbons and...OH MY FUCKING GOD!
