I heard the battle horn sound off, signifying that the duel was starting.
"Dwell in me, Baal!" Sinbad shouted, which of course the crowd went wild to. I saw women swooning and children cheering as I gritted my teeth together. Sinbad transformed into a blue dragon scale looking sort of armor. I hate to admit it, but unsurprisingly he's pretty hot. My face turned 50 shades of red. I mentally smacked myself trying evaluate Sinbad. I'm asuming his dijiin involves lightning or water based off the color. "What's wrong (Y/N? Aren't you going to equip?" He batted his eyelashes together in a false sense of innocence.
"Pfft, who needs that when I can beat you with my bare hands?" I need to stop talking myself up like this.
"Oh~? Getting cocky aren't we?" he sneered at me as I bit my lip. I took my twin blades out, which were made out of the remains of my moon lit sword I found in the dungeon since I broke it while conquering Simawi. Sinbad suddenly lunged at me with his sword, to which I barely parried. I managed to stun him for a split second before he kept lunging at me with blue lightning sparks flying.
So his magic is lightning, I guess I'll have to use water someway or another. Yamuraiha actually just taught me recently that lightning magic has a weakness to water. I remembered one of Yamuraiha's water spells and quickly chanted it.
"Hydro Sphere!" A water bubble formed around me before Sinbad's next attack could get to me. The lightning shocks touched the water as Sinbad shot back after being stunned for a three seconds from the recourse, which gave me an excellent opening to attack. That is, if I didn't fucking trip on a pebble. The crowd was cheering and laughing, but to me it felt like they were laughing at me. I've always been insecure about myself, ever since I was 10 all my best friends left me out of their group and never told me why. I felt my heart ache as I clutched my chest with my right hand. By now, Sinbad was looking at me with pity and remorse as I felt tears prick the corners of the eyes. How embarrassing, and I talked all arrogantly too...
"I'll show you..." Sinbad said to me quietly, but the whole stadium went silent as if they heard what he said.
"H-huh...?" I looked up at him from the ground that I was kneeling on with tears streaming from my eyelids. "Show me what...?" He looked at me with a sad smile, as if he didn't like seeing me cry. He leaned over and wiped the falling tear off my cheek with his thumb.
"How to dijin equip..." My eyes widened slightly and I felt a blush envade my cheeks. How could this man be so powerful...yet loving at the same time? I shakely took his hand and stood up abrubtly. After thinking about it for a good 30 seconds I turned around to face Ja'far, who was standing at a podium .
"Ja'far! I forfeit!" Everyone gasped, some people were muttering while others were upset that the fight wasn't finished. Hell even Sinbad was shocked slightly, but I have my reasons for doing this.
"A-ah... Ok...The winner of the duel is Sinbad...by default!" The crowd grumbled and left the stands, making their way to their daily grind. The eight generals had seemingly emotionless expressions, which made me feel like I dissapointed them, but little did I know they were quite proud of me. I sighed and looked up at Sinbad. I saw him staring intently into my (E/C) orbs, just as I was staring into his beautiful, golden eyes. I found myself lost in those eyes everytime I looked at them. I found myself slowly being seduced by him, as much as I hate to admit it. I felt and unfamiliar wetness come from my inner-thighs as my face heated up again. It must Alqamar's little 'side effect.' I turned away as Sinbad broke the silence.
"You did good (Y/N)...I'm actually quite impressed you lasted as long as you did without your equip." I had the feeling he was smiling at the back of my head. I turned around slowly to reply, not noticing how the generals had left, but Yamuraiha had her water orb watching us, to which she can see through.
