I walked around the manor for a while before I finally found the head butler of the manor, Sebastian.

I approached him as quickly as I could before he entered the other room.

"Mr. Sebastian! May I have a word with you?"

Sebastian looked at me and smiled as he replied. "Why yes, what seems to be the matter?"

We stood infront of each other outside of the young masters chambers.

"Do you  mind if we go somewhere else?" I asked while pointedly glancing towards the door.

Sebastian seemed to get the idea as he guided me by the back to the kitchen. I cleared my throat as he patiently waited for me to begin.

"You see, I have something special I made for Meyrin but it's not finished yet. I have to make if a specific color that she asked for but I need help getting it just right. I need your help to get it close enough to compare without raising any suspicions." I tried to explain without really saying it.

"I don't understand, Y/N?" Sebastian said as he walked to the sink where a few dishes were sat.

I followed close behind him as I continued.

"I need something to be the same as the young masters eye color and I can't get close enough to compare without it being strange. but you can."

Without missing a beat or looking up at me for that matter, he answered. "Sure."

"Please Sebastian I will be ever so- Wait, did you say yes?" I said in shock.

"I did, you prepare the mixture and ill compare it till it's right. Now, until then I must get back to the Master. Good day." Sebastian said quickly as he rushed out of the room, looking at his pocket watch.

I stood in complete silence, shocked at his willingness without any explanation.

"He said yes...Without any explanation as to what it may be for....What if I was planning to kill someone? Would he just say yes and let me do it?" I began to ramble with myself, not really paying attention to the door.

"Oi, If you plan to kill anyone, let me get me flame thrower out. She would nicely with leaving no evidence." I heard Baldroy say from behind me.

I turned to see the bigger man with a goofy grin on his face and cigar hanging from his lips. I sighed at him tiredly.

"Baldroy, How many times must I tell you not to smoke in the kitchen? You might catch something on fire and burn the place to the ground." I scolded and took said cigar from his mouth.

He pounted in return to the severe loss.

"You're no fun, Y/N. Wouldn't be the first time this place was up in smokes." Baldroy laughed out.

I was shocked at that. That was no such thing to be laughing about.

"Baldroy, You shouldn't say things like that." I said while getting out the pans and ingrediants for the young masters breakfast.

"Well, I mean it's in the past. It isn't like we can't fix the place up again." Baldroy continued.

"Baldroy, I mean it. Please stop talking as if it isn't a big deal." I tried to keep my cool.

"Well, Ms. Y/N. I was just saying that-"

"Baldroy!" I shouted as I slammed my hands onto the counter.

"If I must explain it, Bladroy, I lost my mother in a house fire because I was playing with my uncles cigars. I was the cause of the fire and I was the cause of my own mothers death. Does it seem like a laughing matter now, Baldroy?" I said angrily and went back to roughly cutting the ingredients.

"Ms.Y/N, I didn't know." BAldroy said, giult evident in his voice.

"Well, Now you do. Will you go set up the table for breakfast? I'm a bit busy." I coldly snapped.

Baldroy left the room quickly and silently. Once his footsteps could no longer be heard, I dropped the knife on the counter. I was trying so hard not to break, to be strong just like father tells me too but i's hard. it's so hard to cope with being the reason you will never see your mother. My knuckles were turning white from gripping the counter too hard as my body shook with silent sobs. I finally gave in and slide my body to the floor, trying to let it all out as quickly as possible. There was still work to be done after all.

"Y/N?" Meyrin's voice said from the doorway.

I didn't even look, just sobbed. She immediately wrapped her arms around me and rocked us both side to side.

"Baldroy told me what happened. He didn't mean to upset you." Meyrin whispered.

My sobs had calmed to violent sniffles at this point.

"I know, I didn't mean to be so cold. He probably hates me now."

"Don't say that, we all love you! We all have our tragic backstories so this just makes you more of a family to us. That didn't come out right, my apologies."

I laughed slightly at her calmness turning to panic.

"It's alright, I understand. I love you guys too, It's just something hard to let go of."

A comfortable silence flooded over the room as we just enjoyed each others company. Finally, I got up and merrily made my way to the stove to finish cooking breakfast.

"Well, mustn't leave the young master waiting." I said while meyrin dusted herself off.

"No, no we shouldn't" she smiled as she walked out, presumably to help Baldroy with preparations.

I smiled fondly until I smelt the slight burning of eggs.

Ahh.
