Chapter 2: Power of Nature
Lloyd's p.o.v.I woke up, panting and sweating. I gripped on my bedsheet, trying to remember what had happened in my nightmare. So little did I remember, but only the parts that I will never forget glued on to my brain.
I didn't want to remind myself why I had the dream, so I got out of bed. I checked the time, seeing it was 2:37 am. No one is up until 6:00, but I decided to train outside the Bounty to get my mind off of the gruesome Nightmare.
Feeling the cool air whirling around, I studied the forest we were currently in. Seeing it was peaceful and no one or thing was around, I got off the bounty and ran to the forest.
The forest was relaxing and pretty, the rain from yesterday night making the scenery stand out. A spider web was filled with droplets and some of the flowers were blooming. The water dripped down the leaves, making little noises once it hit the soft ground of soil. The birds were slowly waking up, a few chirping. The sun was stalling in the sky, a faint hue of orange appearing in the early morning of today indicating that the sun was coming soon. The wind hustled the leaves gently, creating the atmosphere peaceful.
Taking this as an advantage, I sat down in the center, closing my eyes. I began to meditate, feeling the underground animals working their way to their destination. Each drop of water can be heard from where I am, a droplet falling two miles away from me. The sudden storm was heading west, the strong wind lingering in the distance between the Bounty and the forest. The winter in the east was calm, the snow surprisingly falling in harmony. It fell to the ground as if a child laid down on a bed. Some birds had wakened, some tired and some upset for waking up at a time like this.
I then centered myself as I paid attention closely to my surroundings, an aura looming around that held joy and tranquility. The more I focused, the more I realized the birds were now chirping as if they were singing. The droplets began to slow down, going in rhythm with the chirping. The storm was now divided to more of those calm stratus clouds, looking dangerous, but safe enough to be around. The wind was now moving in a steady pace, dancing around. I smiled laying down and opened my eyes. Everything was perfect. It's just what I needed.
Getting sleepy, I passed out, not realizing that I can control nature now.
Jay's p.o.v.
"Jay! Get up!" Someone screamed, which it's obviously Cole.
I groaned, mumbling, "Go awayy!" I snuggled underneath my covers, wanting to go back to sleep. But I couldn't, because NOW I'M COMPLETELY UP THANKS TO COLE! AND ALL I WANTED WAS TO SLEEP IN!
"Jay, if you don't get your butt up, I'll take away your videogames!" He screamed.
"NNNOOOOOOOOO!" I screamed myself, jumping out of my bed.
Honestly, can't Cole see I'm trying to get some BEAUTY SLEEP?! I mean, Skylor doesn't need it since she already is fabulous and pretty, BUT I NEED IT TO LOOK CUTE FOR NYA! Oh- uh.... YOU DIDN'T HEAR ANYTHING!
"Uh... Jay? Where is Lloyd?" Kai asked, randomly walking in. I screeched, literally in the middle of getting dressed. I didn't even have my shirt on!
"KNOCK FIRST, KAI!!" I shouted at him, throwing my PJs at him. He fell backwards by the sudden contact and fell face-first to the floor.
"Yes Jay..." I heard him mumble. I huffed, getting fully dressed. I had a dark blue shirt with the words 'Star Farrer' on with Fritz Donnagon in it. I had black leggings and a dark blue sweater on so Cole, Kai, Wu, and Nya won't say "it's too childish!" to my shirt. Well, let's be honest here..
