CHAPTER 24

Harry's pov:

When the next morning I woke up I noticed I was alone in the bed. I looked around the room but saw no one. I sat up on the bed and rubbed my eyes. When I opened my eyes the bathroom door opened and Ryan came out fully dressed.

"Good morning" he said and I smiled at him.

"Morning" I said and looked at the clock.

"Why didn't you wake me up" I asked.

"I didn't want to disturb your sleep. You looked so peaceful." He said.

I stood up from the bed and stretched my body.

"I am going to my room and get ready. Tell mom I will be downstairs in few minutes." I said and he nodded.

I turned to leave but "Where is Sheena?" I asked.

"She was downstairs with your mom." He said and I nodded. With that said I left the room and get back to mine.

I finished my morning routine, showered and dressed. I fixed my hair and checked myself once more in the mirror and slung my back bag over my shoulder before going downstairs.

Ryan and Sheena were already sitting in the dinner table eating breakfast. When I reached them my mom turned towards me and gave me a smile which I returned.

"Morning honey" she greeted and kissed my cheek.

"Morning Mom".

"Where is Dad?" I asked since he was not here.

'Oh, he left already telling me he had an early meeting which reminds me I have to go too. So, hurry." She said and handed me a plate.

"Hey sweet heart" I said and ruffled Sheena's Hair and she giggled sweetly.

I took a seat beside Ryan and gave him a smile and started to eat.

Once we finished we bid our Good bye to my mom and left the house.

We made it to college in 20 minutes and on the way here we dropped Sheena in her school.

We climbed out of the car and made our ways inside. On the way someone called me and I turned to see Brock, one of my teammate.

He jogged towards us and stopped in front of us.

"Hey Harry, so I heard that the Practice is starting from next Monday." He said and I nodded.

"So, when are we having our first game?" He asked.

"Next Friday Man. Coach will give you guys the details for the practice." I said and he nodded before looking at Ryan.

"Hey Ryan, I am sorry for yesterday. I should have stopped Josh but I didn't. And I am sorry for what Tyler said too. Please forgive him. He isn't really a bad person. He was just raised that way. I hope you understand." He said and I looked at him.

"Wait, so you were there with him and Tyler too. What did he said to Ryan?" I asked feeling angry.

"No Harry. He didn't say anything to Ryan to hurt him. He just misses you Harry. We all miss you. When Josh said Ryan was the reason you stopped hanging out with us and not eating lunch with us he believed Josh. He got angry and went with Josh. He still was. Please Harry, We miss our friend, we miss our captain." Brock said and I stared at him.

"If you guys missed me so much you should have come to me not to go and try to beat Ryan." I said but Brock remained silent.

"Anyway, I am not going to forgive you guys until you all say sorry to Ryan for the way you acted towards him." I said.
