oh my god he kissed me.
I was to shocked to push him away. A mixture of happiness, sorrow and pain run down my veins. Everything happened so fast, a minute ago he was kissing me and now he's looking in my eyes. Something was different in his eyes but I can't point it. He looked away cleared his throat and said " uh sorry, that won't happen again". WHAT??? you can't kiss someone and then say, I'm sorry, never will happen again.
But I just replied with simple "good" and walked back in. I got used to be hurt, and after ten years NOTHING CHANGED I GUESS.
I tried my best to suppress the urge to cry, I don't want to ruin this evening. So I wore my mask and let everything go; I need to focus on my dinner.
I sit next to Emmy, she was quite, I looked at her then at Nicolas, they both stayed silent; I knew something was wrong.
Nicolas eyes met mine, and it was written all over his face he figured out who I was. I could see the guilt in his eyes, and suddenly he seemed so old and tired, but what bothered me was his silent. I was about to ask him but he shook his head.
Finally, Emmy brook again the silent " Claire can we play tomorrow together?"
" she has work to do cupcake" her father answered, I didn't realize that I was spacing out until I felt someone hit my foot under the table. It was Nicolas.
"let's eat shall we?" he said with a small smile. I nodded.
We ordered our food and while we were waiting, Zack comes back; it took him long to calm his nerves. He was silent all evening, while his father and Emmy bombarded me with questions; and of course Nicolas's were all with double meaning, but at the end we settled things out somehow and enjoyed the dinner. And Zack still remained silent. He was lost in his thoughts. I wondered were he was right now, but I pushed the though at the back of my mind. It shouldn't bother me.
We were ordering our dessert, when I noticed that someone familiar, comes our direction; I froze. Mom?????
