chapter 15 The crime

It was midnight when I finally got home, it was dark so I didn't lit the lights, I sat on the kitchen's floor wrapped my knees with my hands and just cried silently, all the memories that my conscious once suppressed flew up clearly in my mind.

Suddenly a phone rang; it's Harry's; I stood up and searched for the phone, I was shocked to see my number on the screen. I took the phone with shaky hands and answered it "who is it?"

"already forgot? you almost hit me on the road and left without even asking, it's not right, I think I have a trauma maybe should I report the police?"

"W-What d-do y-you want?"

"Not to much baby, just some cash, you now to make sure that my health is ok"

''How much?"

"Good girl, maybe you can came to my place and we can discuss the details"

He gave me the address and I drive off to his place, I parked my car and for a couple of minutes I just stayed in catching my breath, and then I waked out the car.

I wake up early, to early feeling sick from the last night, everything that happened played in my mind all night; I have to forget, just forget about it as a bad dream; I thought. I made myself a good cup of coffee and sat in the kitchen checked the last preparation for the big Christmas party. And then Harry entered.

"Where you've been all the night?"

''I told you that Zack invited me to dine with him and his family".

" I forgot, sorry hope you had a good time"

"Uh, yeah we had" and I looked away I don't want to cry again I cried enough." Got to go, I have a presentation today'' and quickly grabbed my papers from the table and stormed out. "Have a good day sweety" I just waved at him and closed the door.

************Harry's POV****************

She's lying, I know that she cried all night, I heard her, and I know that she went somewhere last night, I guess I just need to wait, she's almost at her limits I need to push her little more and then she will be wrapped in my cage begging for mercy.

I dialed my father asking him if everything was done, and he said that everything's done perfectly; ok step one is over, and now is up to you Zack, you want to take Claire away from me, she's mine, and mine only, I always was there for her so you will play your part as I want and you will push her away not knowing that.

After checking that everything's ready for my next move I got dressed and went to work. It was hard to focus on work thinking that my Claire was with him now. I know that it's just a matter of time for him to realize that she's Lisa, last time I gave up but now I won't just stand and watch him, I will fight for her, even if that means kill someone.

**************Claire's POV*********

Zack was quiet, very quiet, he avoided me all day, he even didn't talk to me, usually he makes thousand excuses just to keep me around him, but today he was strange; ok if you won't talk, me neither will; I thought.

"Mr Hunter, this is the documents you asked me yesterday to prepare for you, also you have today an important meeting at lunch with Mr Smith."

"ok" he responded without even looking, I was irritated by his actions it was me who should be angry and cold not him, but I let it go; he's not worth it. And then the office's door opened and a furious Joe entered " did you seen  the news??"

"what are you talking about?" and then Joe turned on the TV

The criminal Ben that was released a few days ago was killed in his apartment, he was indicated in kidnapping Nicolas Hunter's son and killing a little girl ten year's ago. And yesterday he was found dead in his apartment, the experts says that it's to soon to conclude anything but the primary investigations says that it was a revenge crime made by women, and related to the case ten years ago, as they found some things that belongs to Lisa, his victim.
