Chapter 16 You are mine

******Zack's POV*******

He's dead.....

I can't believe he's dead.

"Joe please say that he's alive, he can't be dead".

"Zack what are you talking about?? that pig never should live a second after he took Lisa away from  us...from you".

"No he can't die.... he just can't.....not yet...it's me, it's me who should kill him.....it's me. He took her away, away from me, it's me who should kill him, Joe how can I face her now, tell me? I couldn't ask him why he killed her, how she died? in pain or not?" and I broke down, I felt something cold on my cheeks, I touched my face and found that I'm crying, I didn't cry since Lisa's funeral, I promised myself that I will make sure he suffered enough, he paid all his debts, but once again fate has other plans.

I didn't realize that I was sitting on the floor until two arms hugged me and helped me to sit on the couch. I met her gaze and lost myself in her eyes,how can I look in her eyes, how can I ask her to forgive me, to came back to me, if I'm useless, I couldn't protect her then and I couldn't defend her now after that he's dead.

"Ms Hunter, are you ok? should I bring you water?"

"till when? till when will you torture me?"

"what are you talking about?"

" I know who you are....

you are Lisa my Lisa". I saw the hurt in her eyes, I think after all it's not that hard to read people, you just need to look in their soul, she stood up and walked out the office.

***************Claire's POV************

I never seen him in this state, I could see clearly that my revenge was a succeed, not the way I wanted but after all he's broken. I thought that I will be happy, I will feel free, but no, instead I feel emptiness and pain, a huge pain in my chest. I couldn't understand why I moved closer and hold him in my arms, it's like my body not mine anymore,I helped him to sit on the couch and our gazes met.

Regret, fear,pain all of that was mixed in his eyes; he regretted that he left me, feared that I will reject him, felt pain because he was useless. I found my voice and asked "Ms Hunter, are you ok? should I bring you water?"

"till when? till when will you torture me?"

"what are you talking about?"

" I know who you are....

you are Lisa my Lisa" it was to much I couldn't hold my tears anymore so I walked out, I need to breath, I didn't realize that I was holding my breath.

"You are mine, please forgive me" I heard as I reached the elevator and then something hit the wall and crushed.

*****Harry's POV*******

It was all over the news, Ben was dead. how will Claire react? Did you recognize him sweetheart? the phone rang and cut my thoughts, it was my dad, "what do you want?

"wow, hold on cow boy, it's not how you should treat your dad"

"what do you want?"

"you heard? he's dead what will we do?"

"WE???? listen and listen good there's no we, there never were we, you are no one to me, my only family is Claire." and I hung up the phone.

I didn't notice how Claire entered  the room, she was quiet, I think she already know; well, that's good; "what's wrong?"

" I want to go back to Paris, it was a mistake to came back seeking revenge, I'm going to pack" with that she left upstairs. Wow, that was easy, you lost Zack, AND SHE'S MINE.

I couldn't finish my though, the door bell rang, it was the police.

"Is this the place of Miss Claire?"

"yes"

"Harry who's there?"

"Miss Claire you're under arrest"
