chapter 21 bloody wedding

I sit in front of the mirror watching as the stylist put the last lashes on me.

To say I looked horrible was an understanding, I was pale, my eyes were bloody red and puffy from crying, my heart ached, but I convinced myself that I have to do that to save the ones I love.

I didn't ask how Harry convinced the police man to release me, but after an hour they set me free. It was a chock for me, and everyone, even the officer was in chock. Zack begged me to change my mind, but what done was done '' I have to, I can't live knowing that he killed you and I didn't do anything to save you"

"but.."

"Zack it's final, I love you and always will""ok calm down guys, Lisa I have an idea, please tell me everything you know, and I will try to help you ok, but I need you to tell me what happened"

"I'm sorry, but no" and a single tear ran down my face"

I didn't realize that I really was crying until a soft voice called me from my trance "Lisa everything will be ok trust Zack, he will do everything to save you" it was my best friend Anne, she was the only one that I could tolerate next me right now.

A knock on the door get my attention, " Claire sweety, I can't wait to call you My wife be ready in 10" and I heard a loud laugh as my tears run down my face.

I can't believe she accepted his offer, and what makes me angrier that she did that to protect me, the history repeat itself ten years ago she sacrificed herself to protect me, and this time the same. I can't just accept it, I have to do something, so I worked all my connections as we tried to find a witness to the crime, it can't be that no one was there. The police the same also was working to find something, it just can't be true, it's so obvious that it was Lisa who did it and also this record, it seems that someone set her up, and that someone is Harry.

'' Paul what did you find till now, we run out of time we have to do something and fast". I told the police officer, in those few days I lived at police station and now I call the officer by his name.

"Well I have good news, but it's not enough, the record is fake, it's true that it was Lisa's voice but it's a mix of voice pieces, and we might found as well an old women that said something weird, she didn't saw the killer but heard him it sounded like female heals tuk.......tuk tuk  tuk.........tuk tuk, so I don't know how we can use this information."

"I don't know, we have something to start with so let's work from here, we don't have time, the wedding is tomorrow."

We worked all day and night, but we found nothing, I was boiling now, on the outside I was this business man that handled everything with cold nerves, but on the inside I was dying, I can't lose her one more time, not this time, the wedding was a few hours from now, we need a fast solution; and then an idea come to my mind. "Paul we will let him confess himself, we can provoke him, I will be the pray, listen to me".

" you are crazy, there's no  guaranties that it will work, plus it's to dangerous."

As we arrived to the church, I knew that the ceremony started I was mad, furious and scary, scary to lose her. I run inside, to stop this stupid wedding at all cost. "STOP THIS WEDDING".

"Oh our guest of honor came, dad this is Zack".

"Mr Johnson??? you are his dad???"

"Oh Mr Zack, yes, surprise" he smiled cheaply.

"what does this mean I asked confused.

"Zack, it's their doing, I'm scared Zack" Lisa run into my arms crying, she was beautiful in her wedding gown, her hair was curled  in a very beautiful way, her eyes were puffy and red, I hugged her close to my heart, she pulled away and said "it's Harry's father who arranged Ben's freedom, and it was him behind our kidnapping, he wanted money and it's because of him Harry's legs injured" and then like a light hits me "Lisa we have a proof that you are innocent, there was an old laddie that saw Harry  and she can confirm that, you Lost Harry" I lied

" ha ha ha you think? but no" and then he pulled a gun and pointed towards me.

"Harry that's enough, please wake up".

"NO you will be mine or no ones".

I pushed Lisa away as he pulled the tiger.

"Doctor will he live?".

"His condition is stable now, but truly I don't know if he will survive."

You will survive, I will wait for you as you waited for me Zack; and I kissed his forehead as I curled next  him on the hospital bed.
