M.E.O.W. Void Of Lies

Chapter 8 : Part one of the really long adventure with a lot of explaining.

"Derek, you need to open another portal." Firepaw told him.

"Ok, ok." Derek replied and struck it again. The portal appeared once more, and

they all slowly climbed down.

"Derek, you're going to keep the portal open for when we get back." Biscuit said.

"Oh, I don't think so. I've been trying to get rid of you for ages, and when you asked me to help you, that was the perfect plan to get you killed. Plus, I recorded you giving me my freedom." He replied smugly. Another strike of the portal

opener, and it started getting smaller. Then, it closed, with all of them falling into the void...

Eventually, they landed on a floating island. They looked around and there was a lot of junk floating all over the place. They checked until they saw a movement, it was a robotic cat! He said:

"Hello I am Strategic Portable Excellent Efficient Dasher also known as S.P.E.E.D."

"Umm I don't remember you getting thrown in here" Said Firepaw confused. S.P.E.E.D trailed away saying something, but Firepaw couldn't hear. Berry gulped. He remembered that sometimes when you escape the void little parts of your memory will stay in the void. They marched on only to meet a huge drop with another island on the other side.

"Holy hairballs!" Berry said throwing a device into the void. The device he was holding could check how far deep a drop is, and the device said, -1 meters deep.

"That shouldn't be right" Said Berry.

"Nothing is right here" replied a voice behind them.

A group of R.E.X were behind them, all pointing guns, but the weird thing is they were all covered with black roots. One of the R.E.X had black think vines coming out of his ears, and nose. Some of it broke through the armor, and some were hanging out.

"Void eaters" mumbled Berry.

"What's a void eater?" Asked Teymur.

"It's something that's living that gets eaten by the void plant, and commands under the plant." Said Berry, "It's basically a parasite that turns dead things in the void into zombies, who eventually turn into dust, which will grow more of these void plants."

Berry took out a gun, and fired it at the void eaters. The monsters moved out of the way, but were to slow as all of them got destroyed. More void eaters jumped out of the ground. Biscuit noticed a void plant growing on the void eater's back, so he shot it. The void eaters all exploded.

"Ok, we need to figure out how to get to the other side." Enrico said, looking at the second island.

They all tried to figure out ways to get past. Suddenly, S.P.E.E.D. walked over to where they were.

"Let me handle this." Said S.P.E.E.D. He got out a cube. He turned it around, and some rocks formed a bridge to the next island.

"What was that?" Asked Firepaw

"It's called a molecular kinesis stabilizer. If you turn it around, it will read your mind and it will make objects do what you think." S.P.E.E.D. explained.

"Dang it! I was working on a molecular kinesis stabilizer for years!" Berry complained.

"Beat you to it." S.P.E.E.D. told him. Berry sulked as they walked steadily across the

stone bridge. When they got to the other side, they saw the floating pictures from Firepaw's dream. Biscuit looked at his and gulped. After that, they heard footsteps. The hooded man, the leader of the D.O.G.S. and M.E.O.W.'s worst enemy, was walking towards them. He had a rake covered in Derek's neuro-liquid, and he was holding it up. Just when he brought it down, he vanished.
