Chapter 2 : In Weird Conditions

All of the gang went to the library to get to the base. Firepaw and Biscuit had to stay hidden in their bags, because the school didn't allow pets, (unless it was bring your pet to school day, which hadn't ended well for them.) They had to get their early, because other people could sit at the seat, which was one of the ways to get into M.E.O.W. Luckily, no one was there. Biscuit then traced the wall with his claws, but it made no sound. Teymur and Enrico were used to this entrance, because they had used it a few times already.

The floor opened and they all fell into the base.

"It's nice to be here again." Enrico said, smiling. They walked into the lab, where their friend Berry worked. However, they found him slamming his head on the wall, with millions of scrunched up papers next to him.

"Umm, Berry what's wrong?" Asked Teymur,

"Stupid... Stupid! Project!" Answered Berry,

"What project?" Asked Teymur,

"I have to build a stupid robot from the R.E.X scrap in just a few weeks." Said Berry sounding even more frustrated.

"Maybe you should take a break?" Suggested Enrico,

"I wish I could but I'm running out of time... Remember, I have to get this done by next week." said Berry,

"Ok... We'll just leave you to it!" Said Enrico with slight sarcasm, but Berry didn't notice. They decided to check out the kitty kart. They walked pass the training grounds, and opened the door in the kitty kart. When they got there they saw all the kits flying airplanes everywhere, but there were two new kits running around.

"Umm... Who's that?" Questioned Enrico, pointing at the bengal cat.

"That's Ace." Answered Firepaw, "And that's... Biscuit Jr."

"WHAT!" Said Enrico, and Teymur at the same time.

"Yeah... I'll tell you later..." Said Biscuit slowly.

After, Biscuit explained the really long story of how Biscuit Jr. happened. Teymur, and Enrico were just stunned of how descriptive Biscuit was.

"That's disgusting, but cute at the same time." Said Enrico,

"Wait so now Lays is like our pet in law?" Asked Teymur,

"Sorta," Said Biscuit.

Enrico, and Teymur were even more stunned after they discovered Biscuit had a kit with Lays. They decided to pretend it didn't happen. They exited the kitty kart. They went down the hallway to check the training grounds. They peeked in, but immediately left as they having a training session. After, a while they ran into Fluffy, who was eating salmon.

"What's up, Fluffy?" Biscuit asked.

"-mff- I -munch- was going -narf- to the kitchen but -burp- I saw a bunch of -scoff- fish and -munch- I got hungry." Fluffy replied, his words getting interrupted by the fish in his

mouth.

"Fluffy, I told you to go on a diet!" Biscuit told him.

"Yeah, but salad doesn't do me good! I can't help it! I get cramps if I don't have enough fish!" Fluffy complained. Biscuit chuckled and walked past, as Fluffy stuffed a poor clownfish in his mouth.

Berry had decided to take a break (well, they had to practically pry him from his workbench) and have some lunch.

"Well, I'm kinda in a rush here, so let's make this quick" Berry told them.

"Ok, listen. The D.O.G.S. haven't attacked in awhile, right? We need to get one step ahead of them. I say we make a... "

Firepaw wasn't paying attention. Images of the pictures flashed into his mind, and he kept thinking about the shadow. Whenever he did, he felt a nagging feeling in his brain, like it was trying to tell him something important.
