Chapter 4 : Mission Secure The... Hair Salon?

All the cats went to the command center, and waited until Cheetoh came over, and announced.

"Ok everyone I have a mission for you. As you know this is going to be the first mission for the kits." Some of the kits jumped up, "Anyway Mission Secure The Hair Salon is now active." Cheetoh pressed a button, and a screen with the mission plans popped up.

"Ok the D.O.G.S have taken over the hair salon, and for what reason I don't know. Ok there will be three squads. R.A.T squad will be our new soldier Mack who was originally a kit. R.A.T will take down the R.E.Xs who are patrolling the area, and if they get into trouble Firepaw you will assist them. " Firepaw nodded his head.

"Ok the next squad will be made up of two. M.O.U.S.E squad will have Ace, and Me, with Lays, and Biscuit." Lays looked at Biscuit for a second then refocused. Cheetoh then announced "Ok M.O.U.S.E squad, your job is to take out the middle forces of the D.O.G. base. That means every dog that's guarding the inside of the hair salon." Cheetoh took a deep breath, "And finally after hearing my boring voice for the last 20 minutes is S.Q.U.E.A.L. Squad. You will be made up of Berry, and Dorito. You guys will snipe, and help out the other squads. NOW GO!"

All the cats scrambled around, and grabbed their weapons and gear. Everyone moved into their positions.

"One last thing everyone Enrico, and Teymur will help the push inside the salon." Said Cheetoh.

Dorito got his sniper ready, and set it up on top of a cardboard box. Luckily, the place was deserted as the people saw the D.O.G.S, and then ran away. Berry handed Dorito a stock that was green, and labed, "A.C.E"

"What does that stand for?" Asked Dorito.

"Oh it means Amazing, Crazy, Explosion... It's a new bullet made by me with Ace's help."

"Cool what does it do?" Asked Dorito

"Well give it a shot." Answers Berry.

Dorito held up the scope, and put the stock on. The R.E.Xs were already taken down by the R.A.T squad. Dorito then noticed something.

"Where is the R.A.T squad" Dorito asked.

"Probably helping M.O.U.S.E" Said Berry, but he wasn't actually sure.

Dorito pressed the trigger, and a small red bullet fired out and hit a dog, but instead of piercing it's skin it exploded. The dog was thrown up and hit the ceiling, knocking it out. Dorito reloaded and fired another shot, this time hitting the floor, but throwing back the D.O.Gs next to it.

Suddenly, a R.E.X. ambushed them from behind. Dorito grabbed the sniper and shot directly at it's head, knocking it back.

"Ding ding ding! Fifty points!" Berry joked. They saw the R.E.X. get back up. Suddenly, volts of electricity surrounded it's body. Behind it was Lays, holding a tazer.

"Where's Biscuit?" Berry asked.

"He stayed back to fight the R.E.X.s, but I think they're too many for him to handle at once!" She explained in a worried voice. Now, all of the dogs had noticed them. Security was sent out from every angle. One of the dogs threw a perfume bottle at their feet. When it hit, an explosion rang through the battlefield. They saw Cheeto take out the dog with a single blow, and Ace ran behind him, throwing bombs at the R.E.X.S in front of him. Berry noticed Enrico and Teymur trying to open the door, but there was something that prevented them from opening it. Mack was also having difficulty. He was scrambling around trying to avoid the lasers that the R.E.X.S kept firing. Firepaw grabbed one of their heads, and ripped it off. Then, he threw it like a frisbee to another R.E.X.s stomach. The head snapped some wires in it's internal drive, causing the lasers to bug out. The R.E.X. shot the rest of its allies, then collapsed.

"That was awesome!" Ace yelled. Firepaw bowed.

"HELP!" Screamed Biscuit as he ran out with a wound on his leg. Some dogs were chasing him. Ace threw another bomb at the dogs chased him. It hit the floor, and blasted the dogs aside.

"We need medical attention now!" Said Lays as she shot another dog. A bunch of munchkins carried Biscuit to the medical room.

"Wait where is Mack?" Asked Enrico.

"Over here.." A faint voice said from under the rocks. Enrico lifted it, and saw Mack.

"Ok get everyone back Mission Secure The Hair Salon is complete." More munchkins Enrico helped carry Mack back to base. One of them was kicking a dog that was still moving. Back at the base everyone started to eat. The munchkin gave Mack some Mac and cheese, but he didn't want it. He told the munchkin that he was sick of mac and cheese. The confused munchkin gave him fish instead. Firepaw was walking by but noticed something. The tip of mack's tail was green.

"Hey Mack why is your tail grey?" Asked Firepaw.

"Oh... Um... It's nothing." Said Mack rather quickly. He covered his tail for a second and then Firepaw left. A few minutes later he came back but Mack's tail was back to his normal color like he could change his tail color. Firepaw grew more suspicion, and remembered the dream. He thought, "Could it be?"
