Chapter 12 : Mission Take-Down

Everyone gathered around Biscuit, who was standing in front of a large TV screen with a live missile view. In the corner was a countdown for when it was going to hit.

"This is not good" said Berry looking at the TV with 5 hours left before contact.

"GUYS GUYS" Agent Fluffy yelled running

"What is it?" asked Biscuit

"Enemy ace pilot Strafer is about to run into the patrol!" Fluffy told them

"Call the K.I.T.s we need to warn them!" said Firepaw.

Switching to patrol

Drrrrrrrrr went the radio and then the hologram of Burnpaw's father popped up

"What is it dad?" said Burnpaw

"Son enemy ace pilot Strafer is in the area. Be cautious" said Firepaw

"Ok I'll tell Ace" said Burnpaw

Drrrrrrrrrrrrr went the radio again and Firepaw turned to Ace

"Red 3, Red Leader to Red 3 do you read me?" said Ace

"Roger that Red Leader what is it?" Burnpaw asked

"Enemy fighters inbound check your radar and stay on guard" said Ace

"Roger that, let's show those dogs how to really fly!" said Burnpaw

"Love your energy Red 3 over and out" said Ace

"Over and out" said Burnpaw then the radar showed three red dots

A fighter went right by Burnpaw and he turned to face it as soon as he turned he heard gunfire. Strafer was shooting! Burnpaw turned his plane and flew over the bullets. Biscuit Jr jumped into his jet and zoomed out to help them.

"Red 2, this is Red Leader do you read me?" Ace asked Biscuit Jr.

"Roger that Red Leader." Biscuit Jr answered.

"Enemy planes at 9:00 take care of them." Ace told him.

"Roger that Red Leader, over and out." Biscuit Jr replied. He turned his jet to face 3 dog

planes.

Drrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, then Firepaw's voice appeared on Burnpaw's monitor.

"Son, Strafer is close by. We'll try to find his plane's weak spot. Try to lure him out of the area." Firepaw said.

"Roger that dad." Burnpaw replied. Burnpaw shot a few bullets towards Strafer, but

Strafer flew under.

Meanwhile, Biscuit Jr was shooting at the 3 dogs. He downed one and he was being chased by one behind him

"Red 3 enemy fighters at 6:00 need assistance" said Biscuit Jr.

"That's a negative I'm being chased by the enemy ace unit" replied Burnpaw

"Red leader I need backup there's a bandit on my tail" said Biscuit Jr.

"Roger that" Ace.

Soon he saw Strafer flying above him. Ace conducted his plane towards Biscuit Jr, and he shot the bandit plane's engine. He fell from the sky, screaming.

"Red 2 to Red Leader, their weak spot is the engine!" Biscuit Jr spoke.

"Good job Red 2, over and out!" Ace said. Burnpaw was still chasing Strafer. Strafer

pulled a lever downwards. On the side of the plane, two machine guns came out, facing Burnpaw. They started shooting. Burnpaw sped downwards. Meanwhile, Ace was flying over towards the missile. Suddenly, a dog ran into his plane's wing, and it went out of control. Ace fell off, and he watched his plane get crushed by the missile. Biscuit Jr caught him, and Ace was dangling on the wing of the plane.
