Leo's POV

I check my wristwatch. 6pm. 'I need to call Bella. I need to see her. I know she is probably really mad at me and  misunderstanding me. I have been really busy, that is not an excuse, though. I have not resumed yet and this is already happening. My photography thing, running errands for my dad, I have just been busy. I just hope she understands' 

"Hey Leo" Toyeosa jolts me out of my thoughts.

"Hi" I reply dryly

"Are you going home now?" she asks, smiling

Toyeosa is beautiful, very beautiful. She models and she is good at what she does. I don't know a lot about her, though but I got to know we stay in the same estate. She comes to the studio a lot. She is related to Efosa, the owner of the studio and my boss.  I heard they are cousins or so.

"Uhm...yeah, kinda" I reply, picking up my bag and attempting to leave.

"Chill. Let's go home together" she smiles and makes this cute face.

"That's a joke, right? Besides, I need to see my girlfriend before going home"

"Oh..you have a girl..friend?" she asks. I sense disappointment in her voice. I don't care, though.

"Yes I do."

"Ohh.."

"Yeah.."

There is a minute of awkward silence.

"I have to go now" I tell her.

"Ohhh..yeah, sure. See you tomorrow?"

"Err...yeah sure"

She moves closer to me. I was going to hug her but...I felt her lips against mine in a split second.

Oh wow.

I wasn't expecting that.

I broke away from the ten seconds kiss. I look around the studio. We are the only ones here.

"Look, I am sorry but I have...a girlfriend." I say, in my calmest voice.

Damn, that kiss was nice. Her lips are so soft.

C'mon Leo, you shouldn't think like that. A small voice said to me.

She smiles and bit her lower lip.

"Goodnight Leo" she says and turns to leave.

Her ass,damn!

Toyeosa has this crazy sexy figure. I try my best every single time to get my eyes off this girl. She is...hot.

Her ass wiggles sexily in her blue joggers. I felt the urge to grab it but no I have a girlfriend who won't even let us go farther than just kissing and cuddling. I feel my eyes roll.

Okay, I am not a pervert. And I respect girls' bodies but this girl, in particular, is really hot.

She stops at the door, looks back and flashes me a small smile before she left through the door.

"Wow" I mutter.

I locked the studio and left. I didn't bring my car today..so I am going to take a public transport .

Or I could order uber.

Yes, Uber, it is. The studio is quite far from Bella's house. I need to see that girl.

I brought out my phone and placed an order. The driver is to be here in 10 minutes.

I started going through my phone. I didn't want to call Bella because I wanted to make it a surprise. I have been promising and failing to keep to my promises. I just had to make up for things, somehow.

I had a lot of messages on WhatsApp. I have suddenly developed this habit of replying to people I want to reply to. I ignored the rest. I had a message from an unknown number.

Who is this person?

Me : Hey

The person isn't online. I checked my Instagram. Trust girls to be in my dm.

I am hot, why not?

I scan through the list of my new followers and my eyes hit one of them..

Just then, my ride arrives. I enter the car and greet the driver.

I knock the fifth time before the door finally opens.

"Leo..." she says with what seems like irritation, anger and surprise.

"Bella. I am sorry. I am so sorry" I say genuinely.

She enters the house and I follow her after closing the giant door after me.

She sits on a couch and starts pressing her phone without looking at me.

Really? Girls sef.

"Bella, I said I'm sorry. I know I haven't been available. I feel so bad too" I say, sitting beside her.

I try to touch her but she holds her hand up in the air, indicating I shouldn't touch her.

"Bella, please. I want to make up for everything. Don't be this way na"

"Leo...you rarely reply my messages. You return my calls whenever you feel like. When you eventually return my calls, you are always like babe, I have a shoot. I will call you back" she says the last part trying to mimic me and I laugh.

"Oh. So it is funny, eh? It is, right?" she says, standing up immediately. "For two good weeks, you didn't see me or speak to me and that doesn't bother you. Now you are in my house, telling me sorry and laughing at me" her eyes spell anger and I can see tears forming.

I stand up and move closer to her.

"Baby, I wasn't laughing at you. I swear. I am so sorry"

"Get out of my house" she says, already crying.

"Bella, c'mon. Please." I say. I am actually sorry.

She breaks down into tears.

Okay, this has to be more than just me not paying enough attention.

"I am sorry, Bella. What's wrong?" I ask. I can feel my voice filled with genuine concern.

She hugs me and buries her head in my chest, sobbing.

"I am sorry, Bella. I promise to pay you more attention than ever. I haven't been the best boyfriend and I have no excuse at all. I am just really sorry. Please, stop crying" I say, hugging her like my life depends on it.

"Mum's legs have...been...amputated" she says slowly.

"What? What happened?"
