"Your new partner has arrived..." Min Ha adviced leading Nam Joon inside the palace .
Scarlett just stared at him ... He was extremely identical to the vampire in the book which worried her , yet made her heart race with curiosity at the same time.
"Hello, your highness I heard that you have accepted my request to be your partner or otherwise helper..."
He bowed down in respect then walked neatly to the seat the queen assigned him.
"What shall be your reason or need to help me with my responsibilities?"
Scarlett raised an eye brow full of dare and desire.
He just stayed silent and changed the conversation... After taking a deep breath, words finally came out of his mouth.
"Where will I work , or shall we follow the contract and .... I don't know.. Stay together." He couldn't help but stare at her neck which she was purposely exposing for him to look.
"Let's just stay together...." She said slowly standing up and walked towards him, swinging her hips from side to side as her heeks clinked on the floor.
Soon she was in front him as he was still sitting down.
"Your highness I'm indeed afraid that this is not part of our deal." He managed to say trying to look away.
" We don't need to tell anyone..."
Her voice sounded soo deep and full of desire , but he knew that he needed to control himself.
After she was just too impatient to find out the truth, her wanting of knowing won over her as she put her neck touching his lips.
"M-my queen..." He didnt finish his sentence when his teeth began to change.
"Bite me..."
His mouth opened revealing his sharp teeth, as they were soon covered by entering her soft delicate skin.
" This is how I will pay you for helping me with everything I need..." Scarlett let out sending vibrations from her throat to his teeth.
He soon stopped , taking his blades out of her.
"T-thank you , but paying me with your blood is too much ... I refuse to be paid like that."
She stared at his eyes as his lips were parted letting her get the full view of what her blood looked like.

"If you refuse to take my red substance as a reward then I guess you would be fine with gold."
Now that she knew , her mind kept telling her that she needed to catch all the others ... Not knowing what the truth behind them was.
