Dry garden

"How did you know my name? "
He raised both eyebrows and stared into her eyes as if looking for the truth.

He grabbed her hand and began to caress it carefully.
"What are you doing? "
She asked watching how he closed his eyes and continued touching her skin, looking for something.
Is he trying to read my thoughts?
By the way his eye lids moved the could tell he was struggling to do what he needed to do.  Scarlett slowly started to try and pull her arm back,  but he gripped it tighter each time she did.

We are both strong.

She grabbed the hand that was holding her and pulled him away,  and felt how he also tried to put force on his hand to keep it in place.

Only one option left...  With all her force she aimed a kick towards his bottom area and threw the kick as hard as she could.  Jimin bent down in pain and his grip loosened, she picked up her dress to make it easier to run.

He was on his knees as he clutched the area in which she kicked him.
Scarlett remembered how she used to find him deeply attractive and manly,  but now he was  scared, weak, and on his knees from the pain she caused him.

Rapidly, she ran, she kept running without knowing where she was heading.  Scarlett stopped to take a breath, her dress stopped swinging in the air by the sudden stop.  She didn't freeze time to run faster or it would have been even more suspicious.

Cold wind brushed against her skin,  a leaf, fallen from a dry dark tree,  landed on her hair.  She looked around, she wasn't in the ballroom, she wasn't inside the castle  ... She was outside, it was cold,  almost freezing it sent goosebumps through her legs and her breath could be seen when she talked.
"Where am I? "
Nothing was familiar to her, the dry leaves and trees a lonely sidewalk appeared.

She chose to follow the sidewalk in case it could get her out of that place.
In the distance more dry trees were spotted, piles of black leaves next to them,  but something was strange.
Hidden by all the lifeless trees was a perfectly healthy one, it had bright green leaves hanging nicely from its branches. The grass around it,  healthy and alive as well.

Looking closer at the tree, her feet seemed to be walking her in its direction until a dark red apple,  weird because it was the only fruit hanging from the tree,  appeared making her steps faster.

Before she could even touch the fruit a soft delicate hand grabbed it before she did.
"You shouldn't be here, it's extremely dangerous. "
The hand pulled on the fruit and it fell into the man's palm.
"Jin... Where have you been? What happened? "(Scarlett)
" It's too dangerous here... You need to leave... "(Jin)
" I don't even know how I got here,  where am I? "
She looked around at the place again,  not finding any clue of where she was.
"Did they bring you here? " (Jin)
"No, I was running away from jimin and I appeared here. " (Scarlett)
"This is my father's garden. "
He lowered his head as I'd afraid to tell her something.
"Why is it this dry? "(Scarlett)
" I used to use these fruits to control them... Once we laid eyes on you they stopped eating the food that I provided them. " (Jin)
" Why did they need the fruits if they drink blood? "(Scarlett)
" The fruit was almost like a drug,  I used it to calm them from their wanting of human blood. "

They had stopped eating the fruits,  he didn't need to grow the trees anymore,  but one thing was still unexplained.
"Why is that tree the only one alive and healthy? "
She asked while pointing at the healthy tree.
"I found out the truth about you,  Scarlett..  I know that you are one of us now.. " (Jin)
"How? " (Scarlett)
"I grew this tree since I knew you liked apples,  especially red,  Scarlett look at your position.  You are the queen.  Soon you will need the fruit from this tree. "
