"Hello??"
"Sherwin honey, are you alright??"
Reality dawned on Sherwin, and he instantly held his hand to Jonathan, blushing. "Hi! Y-you.. N-neighbour..? You moved in here? That's.. great!"
Jonathan shot him a bright grin.That warmth.. why do I feel it when I see him? Sherwin couldn't understand.
"You wanna join us for dinner, sweetie? It would be a great chance to know you and your parents better!", asked Sherwin's mum.
"Aw, sorry Mrs.."
"Mayhew, sweetie", she smiled.
"Ah, sorry Mrs. Mayhew!! We've got quite a bit of unpacking and sorting to do.. We'd love to come some other day?", chirped Jonathan.
"This weekend, then? Sounds good?"
"Mm hmm!!", beamed Jonathan, making Sherwin feel the weird sensation again. He just couldn't snap out of it. Jonathan's smile was just.. mesmerizing.
"So, see you at school tomorrow, Sherwin?" That was the first time he heard his name from Jon, and it was, oddly satisfying. He nodded shyly, to which Jonathan smiled.
"Bye! Goodnight."
"Goodnight, Jonathan"

"So, what do you think about Jonathan, honey? He's a sweet kid, huh?" Sherwin nodded, pouring milk into his bowl of cornflakes. His mom was a good judge of character, and he trusted her more than he did himself. "I hope I can get to know him well", Sherwin said shyly.
Finishing off his breakfast, he looked at himself in the mirror one last time, styled his blond hair a bit, then set off for school.
The weather was.. nice. It was warm, neither too hot nor too cold. Just, perfect. And the gentle breeze were calming and soothing.
"Good morning!" Sherwin's heart started fluttering again. He looked around. The raven-haired guy walked towards him. "Good morning, Jonathan", Sherwin greeted.
He's looking really good today. Sherwin just couldn't NOT notice that. It was the first time he had seen him in bright light, and the morning sun made his fair skin sparkle like diamonds.
"So, you always walk to school?", asked Jonathan
"Yeah, the bus.. it's just not my thing. It's too crowded. Besides, walking helps me relax", said Sherwin.
They talked a lot along the way. It was revealed that Jonathan's father was a teacher, and his mother was a doctor. They wanted a change from their old town, back in Pittsburgh.
Along the way, Felix joined the duo. "Good morning, Sherwin!", he said with a warm and enthusiastic smile. He greeted Jonathan too, and the trio tried to walk fast to school, without chit-chatting.
Alex and Barry were waiting for them at school.
They exchanged pleasantries, and got ready for class.

'Fruit Salad', 'Veggie Sandwich'
Jonathan looked at the food counters at the canteen.
"Boy I'm hungry!", exclaimed Alex. Jon nodded. He was famished, and couldn't wait to eat.
They took their seats at the center of the canteen. "Amen. Now, DIG IN!!", said Barry. They all ate their lunch, chit-chatting the whole time, as usual. Throughout, Sherwin continuously peeked at Jonathan, and the latter had no knowledge of it.
"Do you have any hobbies, Jon?", asked Sherwin. "Yep! I'm a dancer. Not that talented though, I try. And, I just.. sing to myself, at times? Never in public."
He sings.. wow. With that voice.. I bet he'd be really good, thought Sherwin.
"Oh! Sherwin sings too! And he's really good at it. He's really talented when it comes to music", Felix pitched in.
Sherwin blushed. Felix always knew what to say to make him feel special. It was almost as if..
Wait, no. That's not a possibility at all. Get it out of your head. Sherwin tried to shake off the thought.
"I don't really know about that, but I can say that YOU are a great dancer! Don't try to deny it, Lix. And you sing well too! Your voice is something that I'd die for", Sherwin complimented.
"It's not as sweet and soft as yours!"
"Aaah, we get it, lovebirds. You're both talented", teased Alex.
"W-what? No! Don't mess around, Alex. Lovebirds, oh please", Sherwin replied, rather tensed.
"Ever heard of humor? I was joking, silly", she replied.
They all had a lighthearted laugh, and returned to class. Jon looked around. Everyone seemed happy. Everyone, except Felix.

Jon_Rocks: Hey guys!! ^^ Good evening!
Alexandra: Hi! Welcome to the group chat!
Sherwin <3: More like goodnight lol. It's 10 pm for god's sake.
Alexandra: Yeah, sorry x) I was busy sketching a new outfit, so couldn't add ya sooner
Jon_Rocks: It's totally fine ^^ I normally sleep late
TheFlashBarry: Seems like he's a night owl, like you Alex XD
Sherwin <3: Anyways, goodnight lol. I can't keep my eyes open.
Alexandra: Yeah, goodnight. I gotta wake up early to jog too.
Jon_Rocks: Goodnight ^_^ Sleep well.
^Felix^: G'night guys.
Sherwin pulled up his bedsheets, got comfy, and closed his eyes. He was really tired.
Ding.
God, what now? He unlocked his phone, and squinted at it.
Jon_Rocks: Goodnight ^^ I didn't know that you sing.. Hope I can hear it sometime ^^
Sherwin <3: Aah, thanks. Tho it's not really that good, but yeah, I'll try :)
Should I say something more? Or will it be too awkward..
Sherwin <3: Btw I wanted to tell you.. your voice is so damn sweet x) Like, for real. It's just.. soo good. I really hope that I can hear you sing.. ^^
Jon_Rocks: Thanks lol. I'm really shy about singing in public.. I don't think I'm that good >_< But yeah, maybe I'll sing.. just for you? ^^ Anyways, goodnight. Sleep well. Bye!
