Chapter - 6

Saturdays at the Cream Palace were just... So awesome. Sherwin would look forward to them every week. He'd go there, with the gang, and they'd go all out with the sweet stuff, until their tummies can't hold any more food. It would usually just be the four of them, but, with the recent addition of the Australian, the they didn't have enough room in Mrs. Mayhew's car for her to drive them, so, they took the bus.
"It sure is a good day, isn't it?", Barry remarked.
"Well, it'd be a helluva lot better if we manage to get there on time! Why were you so late?", Alex rolled her eyes
"I told you, didn't I?  I had to do my hair properly", Felix pouted
"It's not like you're going on a date with someone", she shot back
"Relax, Alex. It sure just take a lotta time to make sure that gorgeous hair stays that way", said Sherwin
"W-wow... I mean, thank you! See? He understands", said Felix
"What about you, new kid?", asked Alex
"Me? What about me? I'm just sitting here, trying not to cause trouble haha", Jonathan laughed nervously
Barry noticed how nervous he was and put a hand on his shoulder, "Dude, relax, she was just joking. So, how do you like the place so far?"
Jon sighed, "Well, the climate's really good, and school's pretty awesome, thanks to you guys. And the people here are really cool too! They're a lot friendlier than I imagined they'd be"
He pulled Sherwin in for gentle shoulder squeeze, "Also, I've got pretty amazing neighbours, so, I guess, everything's good so far!"
Sherwin blushed and smiled
'He thinks I'm amazing'
"Guys, look! Is that a new cafe?", Felix exclaimed, which looked a bit like he was trying to distract everyone from what was happening inside.

Maybe because he was jealous?

Hey guys, I'm back (I guess?) There's just a lotta stuff going on in life, and I guess, I'm just trying my best to.. hold on to my sanity?
And also, I might be writing a.. new story. Which would be.. a bit more close to my heart. And so, I might not write a lot on this one. But still, thank you to the handful who still read this 😅 it means a lot to me!
And also, all further updates would be short, like this.
And please please forgive me, I know I'm TERRIBLE and writing 🥺🙏🏻

I'm really sorry, but, I think I'll be going on.. a break, until further notice. And, I know I'm probably making this a big deal, I mean, not even a handful of people read what I write, but.. this is for those who do read. For those who care, I'm sorry, but.. there's a lot of.. stuff, going on irl, and I need to.. get them sorted out. So.. till then, bye.
