Giselle’s POV:

I didn’t know anything about this club until I heard Borussia Dortmund’s President speech. It was like being back in school but this time it wasn’t boring it was something that you will need for the rest of your life. Being in the room filled with people who are die hard Borussia Dortmund fans, it makes me feel part of this club. Like family, a family that will always be there for you through good and bad.

Tonight we took a seat almost by the back of the room. There were four people in our table. It was Mario and I. Also Marco was sitting with us but he was with some girl, not sure who she was but it doesn’t look like the girl who I saw coming out of his hotel room the other day. Definitely not her, the other girl was beautiful. This girl isn’t she puts too much make up on to even know if she’s beautiful or not.

I felt someones hand touch my hand, sending me chills down my body.

“You okay?”, Mario asked me whilst touching my hand. “Don’t worry it’s almost over, after this I have a surprise for you.”, he said and smiled at me.

“Yes, I am okay.”, I whispered to him. “Will I like the surprise or not?”, I asked.

“I promise you, that you will love it.”, Mario whispered to me and kissed my cheek, he squeezed my hand and give me a reassuring smile.

He was being so sweet but— I just didn’t know how to respond to his touch, his reproach of affection. I don’t know how to respond but only with a smile. A smile of affection that will one day turn into something other than affection.

“Through out these years, this club, this foundation. It has reached a level where people didn’t think it would reach.”, the clubs president said. “All because of the dedication of the players, the dedication of the fans! The dedication of everyone who loves this club. We will always be the best in my eyes. No matter how bad things get we will get up and fight, always with our heads held up high. Fighting for it all..”, he said and paused. “Echte Liebe.”, the man said. True Love.

“Echte Liebe!”, The whole room repeated.

I had no idea people loved this club so much. How much dedication goes to loving and protecting a title. It’s unbelievable how one sport can change many peoples point of view on things.

I didn’t even realize that the speech had ended until Mario poked my cheek.

“Huh?”

“Come on. Time to go show you the surprise.”, he said.

“Okay.”, I said.

Mario’s POV:

Taking her out on a beautiful dinner, away from the big city was something I needed to do. I want to make her laugh, make her feel something different other than being sad.

I drove out of of the city and into the more country side of this town. I knew a beautiful restaurant, it was secluded and I knew nobody would find us.

“Take a nap.”, I told her. “It’s going to take an hour to get there.”, I told her.

“I rather spend my ride there listening to music with you.”, Giselle said, she leaned over and turned on the Radio.

She turned on the radio and a song was playing. The strum of a guitar, then a beat, finally somebody start’s singing.

'Give me love like her, cause lately I've been waking up alone. Paint splattered teardrops on my shirt. Told you I'd let them go, maybe tonight I'll call you, After my blood turns into alcohol , No, I just wanna hold ya.'
