Y/N'S POV

After eating the cake we decided to watch a movie

I let the girls choose since I really don't know what to pick right now because I'm too busy trying to understand why Lauren has been attached at my hip ever since the girls came here

I mean, I'm not complaining, I just want to know

I'm snuggled next to Lauren, her arm around my shoulder pulling me towards her in a protective way, making me feel safe

I move closer to hug her and we continue watching the movie

*Two weeks later*

I was sitting on the couch minding my business when a notification from instagram appears and I see that it's a post from Lauren

I open it and I almost drop my phone at what I see

"LAUREN MICHELLE JAUREGUI MORGADO"

"What? What happened?" she asks coming from the kitchen

"This, this happened" I answer showing her the post

"First you announce Expectations is coming out in less than two weeks and then you post this...are you trying to kill me?"

"No, I didn't mean it. I was just sharing the cover of the magazine I did a photoshoot with" she says laughing

"Well, you killed most of the fandom!" (i'm still shook by all that happened from monday to now...and tonight Lauren is doing another thing like the Boston one but in New York 😭)

"Come here you cutie" she opens her arms and I launch myself into them

Everytime I hug her I feel like I'm at home

I feel safe, like she'll protect me from everything when I'm by her side

I think I'm starting to have a crush on her but I can't

She's dating my dad and will never like someone like me

"Hey, what's happening here?" my dad asks, probably confused about the fact that we're hugging

"She almost had a heart attack because I posted a picture from the King Kong magazine photoshoot" Lauren says giggling

"Oh, that famous shoot. You looked beautiful as always" he says kissing her

That feeling on my stomach that I had the first time I saw them being cute together returns but I push it away

"What?!?! You knew about this and never told me?" I ask in disbelief

"I told him not to tell you anything, I wanted it to be a surprise for all of my fans and it worked since everyone is probably freaking out right now" she says with a smirk on her lips

"I hate you"

"False, you love me"

"No, I really don't" I say trying to hide my smirk

"You're so bad at lying and we both know it sweetie" dad says

"Stooop, she didn't need to know that" I say pouting

"Come on, let's do something together"

"Actually babe, I need to go to the studio now" my dad replies

Yes! I can spend some alone time with Lauren

"But I wanted to spend some time with you" she frowns

"Come on Lauren, we'll do something together. I'm so much better than him anyways"
