Y/N'S POV
It's been a few days since my dad proposed to Lauren
The worst days of my entire life
I haven't stopped crying and I haven't seen Lauren since that day
I asked my dad about her and he said that she wanted some time to herself so she went to her parents house
Honestly it's better like this
Lauren with my dad and me alone
Two different ways
We were simply not made for each other

As I'm sitting on the couch, watching some videos on YouTube the front door opens revealing the figure of a messy haired and teary eyed Lauren
What is she doing here?
When she sees me she basically throws herself towards me and engulfs me in a bone crushing hug
She starts crying on my chest and I feel my eyes start to get watery as well
"I-i'm so s-sorry. P-please forgive m-me. I-i miss y-you so m-much baby" she says between sobs before giving me a kiss
No, she can't do this to me
I need to forget about her and this kiss is not good, especially for me
I push her away from me
"Stop, stop doing this. You're marrying my dad, you need to forget about me and I need to forget about you" I say standing up
She slowly starts to walk towards me while I start walking backwards until my back touches the wall behind me
"We both know you don't want me to leave you alone" she says smirking
She stands in front of me and traps me between her and the wall, her arms stretched and next to my head
"P-please s-stop" dammit why did I stutter, she'll never take me seriously if I'm like this
"Shh, it's okay baby. Just relax, I'll take good care of you"
With that said she kisses me and I can't help but kiss back
She taps the back of my thigh and mumbles a "jump" before quickly reconnecting our lips
I put my legs around her waist as she puts her hands under my butt
She starts going upstairs, towards my room
I lay in my bed as I watch her taking off her shirt
"I'm going to make you feel so good baby girl"

What have I done?
I just had sex with my ex, my soon to be stepmother
What the fuck it's wrong with me?
"Lauren you need to leave" I say
"What, why? I thought we were good"
"You can't solve problems by just having sex Laur. You're going to marry my dad. You're going to be my stepmother. This is wrong!" I yell
"Y/n please, I promise you I can fix this" she says grabbing my hands
"There's nothing to fix, you made your choice by saying yes to his proposal. Now leave" I say not looking in her eyes
I know that if I look at her I'll break down and tell her to stay here with me
She grabs her things and exit the room
Once I hear the front door being opened and closed I break down in a crying mess
Why my dad had to be on the way?
Why did he have to propose to Lauren and ruin our relationship?
Why did she say yes?
Why can't I have a happy ending?
