Chapter 13

*2 months later*

LAUREN'S POV

In this past two months Ty has been very distant

Every time I try to spend time with him he always has an excuse not to

And for this I distanced myself from Y/n and I feel bad for it

I'm with her and I'm trying to fix whatever relationship I have with her dad

I don't even love him for fuck sake and I feel so bad for what I'm doing to my baby girl

Since Ty it's not home I decide to spend some time with Y/n

"Hey nugget" I say entering her room

"Look who's here. You finally decided to stop ignoring me?"

I don't know if she is being sarcastic or if she is really mad

Either way I know she won't forgive me that easily

"Look, I'm sorry for ignoring you. I don't know what came over me for doing it. Please forgive me" I say giving her my puppy dog eyes

"Stop you can't do this to me. I'm supposed to be mad at you"

"You and I both know that you can't stay mad at me"

"True" she sighs

"Fine, I forgive you but you better not ignore me this time. Now come here and cuddle with me"

*Later that night*

We finished dinner and Y/n and I were washing the dishes until Ty called Y/n

After a few minutes I go into the living room

Once I enter the room I see my parents, siblings and Ty's parents

I give them a confused look but they all have a big smile on their faces except Y/n

"What is happening?" I ask

"My queen" I hear Ty coming from behind me

"There's a really important question I need to ask you" he says

"Okay, go ahead"

"Ever since I met you, not even a year ago, I felt a connection. We met in the studio. Your manager contacted me because he wanted me to produce one of your songs and we ended up recording a song together. Before I met you I was broken inside and you managed to put the pieces of my heart back together. You're the most beautiful thing that happened to me and I love you so much"

He gets down on one knee and I put my hands on my mouth

"Will you give me the honour to marry you?" he asks

"Yes" I answer

He puts the ring on my finger and kisses me as we hear everyone cheering at us

When I pull away I scan the room and see that Y/n is not here

I go to her room and I find her crying on her bed

"Babe" I try to say

"NO. Don't call me that. Not after you said yes to marrying him" she says before another sob

"You know I had to do it. I love you" I say as I feel my eyes starting to get watery

"If you loved me enough you could have said no and we could have stayed together"

"W-what are you trying to say with this?"

"I'm breaking up with you" she says

I swear my heart broke into million pieces

"No please d-don't do this baby. Please don't leave me" I say starting to sob soon after

"Please, please stop doing this. It's already hard" she says looking at me with pleading eyes

"We can fix this. Please I'm begging you. I love you"

"I can't be with you knowing that you'll be my stepmother soon"

"But-"

"Stop. If you really love me like you are saying right now you will leave me alone"

"Ok I'll leave you alone but, can I ask you one thing? I ask

"Sure"

"Can I have one last kiss? Is the only thing I want right now"

"Ok" she says looking down

"How many times have I told you to not hide your beautiful face from me?"

"Too many" she says giggling

Without saying anything I put my hands on her waist and pull her into a kiss where I put all the love I have in me

After we pull away I tight the grip I have on her, pulling her into my embrace, not wanting to let go

She tries to break free but eventually gives up and cries into my chest

After a few minutes I let her go and just say

"Bye Y/n"

"Bye Lauren"

When I close the bedroom door I pull my back against the wall and slowly slide myself towards the floor

Once my butt touches the ground I start to sob uncontrollably

I just lost the love of my life, fucking shit
