"We'll freeze if I can't find something to start this fire with." Jon said as he pulled his cloak around himself, trying to find anything that could light the pile of wood he found. Having been tasked with finding a witch willing to help the rangers he'd hoped it wouldn't be so difficult and that he would be able to get back to camp in the same day.
"I'll do it." You muttered taking the logs off and leaving one, handing him the handful of fire starting twigs he'd managed to find. "Better use this all sparingly." You suggested as sparks flew from your hands and the single log burst into gentle flames.
"How'd you do that?" He muttered in surprise.
"First rule of witch club: don't talk about witch club." You said with a laugh. He grunted and nodded, you were willing to help him and he shouldn't pry he decided as you both settled around the odd fire.
