December event

When you had left the sun was shining and there was nothing more than a soft touch of frost over the grass. It was warm for the time of year so you hadn't bothered to find a cloak or any gloves.

You realised your mistake as you went on a walk in the woods. Out of the sun's reach, in the shade of the woods, you could feel the cold begin to seer and burn into your hands and face as you got further away. Stopping to blow into your hands and rub them together you heard something trudging through the woods. Ghost emerged and paused, making a soft noise, before padding towards you.

"What're you doing all the way out here?" You said as you petted him softly.

"He's looking for you. You know you've wondered so far that the hunters were worried." Jon said as he followed Ghost.

"I did?" You said with uncertainty.

"You've been walking for a while as well. I think the weather change has washed out some of the usual markers. A few trees have fallen... you're much further than normal. So I came to look for you. Well, Ghost insisted on it." Jon explained. He gestured to a fallen tree you hadn't noticed quite far down the path you'd been on. Had it been standing you would have seen how far you'd walked and turned back. "You look cold. Here share my cloak."

Jon held his cloak out and took you under it as Ghost led the way back home. As you walked a soft snowfall started to float down around you.

"Looks like you found me just in time." You said with a soft laugh.

"Yes. just in time to help finish the winter preparations." Jon chuckled when you grumbled and playfully objected. Ghost paused every now and then when he got too far ahead and let the two of you catch up before going off ahead again.
