Taeyong:

I couldn't breathe. I tried to open my mouth but I couldn't do that either. My arms and my legs felt heavy, like there was a weight sitting on me. It stretched over my whole body and held me down. I knew struggling was useless because I'd done this before, but I couldn't just lie there. Slowly, painfully slowly, I could start to feel myself move again. My arms twitched and my legs kicked but it felt like I was under water, moving in slow motion. My lungs were getting sore and my ribs felt like they were squeezing them with every second that went by. Oh god, I was going to die...

I fought off the heaviness as much as I could in the thick blackness, pushing and twisting and fighting until finally I heard myself cry out and I shot up off the bed so quickly the mess of sheets I'd tangled in my sleep pulled my over the side of the bed and I landed with a bump. Fuck. My chest was still heaving and my hands were trembling. Sweat was cooling rapidly on my skin and I had to blink for a few times to convince myself I was awake.

"Oh my god." I whispered to myself in the empty room. It took a few minutes for me to get up off the floor. I tossed the sheets back on the bed and thanked my lucky stars Yuta was in the studio late for his own recording session. A quick trip to the bathroom and another to the kitchen for a bottle of water and I was back in Yuta's room.

I can't believe I had forgotten it was his birthday soon. I'd been looking around the internet for a gift to give him since yesterday but nothing was really jumping out at me. I stood in the middle of his side of the room and looked around. Was there anything he really wanted that I couldn't see lying around? There was his PS in the corner of the room, next to his laptop. His desk was a mess of everything electronic really. I don't think I'd heard him complain about wanting something recently... I tilted my head when I spotted his jewellery box.

That was...actually it wasn't such a bad idea. Yuta loved earrings. He had maybe the most piercings in his ears besides Ten and I. Bouyed by the idea I pulled out my phone and spent some time doing a little online shopping.

In the morning I made breakfast for everyone because I was up before all of them again. Yuta refused to eat until I sat down, so I humored him, passing food from my plate to his when he wasn't looking. Ten caught me and smirked but I just smiled at him, wiggling my eyebrows.

"127 has the day off today. U needs to be in the practice room by 10. We have choreo to learn." I said to everyone. Dream was off promoting in Busan so they'd be back some time tomorrow. Winwin jumped up from his seat.

"Yuta hyung! We get to spend the day together!" Winwin must have missed the glare I was shooting him or he was ignoring it because he just took Yuta's hand and led him down the hallway. The cheek! Oh well, there was nothing I could do. I had practice and our manager, Jin, had called me when I woke up to tell me he had found me a bodyguard. He was some ex-army ranger or something like that. Very qualified. I sighed and gathered everyone who would be leaving with me, herding us to the car downstairs. It was going to be a long day.

Yuta:

Taeyong was acting stranger and stranger. He was trying to act normal around me but I could tell something wasn't right.

He did seem much happier a few days ago when he introduced all of us to his new bodyguard, Lee Yeong Hoon. I had to admit, when I'd seen him my jealousy meter had spiked dangerously. It didn't feel good knowing that this guy, who was way too good looking for someone whose job it was to stand there and protect someone, was going to be spending as much time with Taeyong as possible. Taeyong wasn't even sleeping in my room anymore.
