Yuta:

I hissed as I changed the dressing on my back. There was no blood anymore but I was supposed to keep covering the wound until my stitches dissolved. Bathing was a mission but when I was finally clean and my new bandage was on, I hobbled over to Taeyong's wardrobe to look for something to wear. I could probably wear my own clothes but ... I just didn't want to. I ran my hands over a set of his old shirts and picked a slightly loose grey one, covering it with a hoodie and a pair of his sweat pants.

"Oh, Yuta." His mother said when I entered the kitchen slowly. "What are you doing moving around? Sit, sit. I'll bring you breakfast." I laughed when she guided me towards the love seat in front of the TV and pulled the side table close to me.

"Omma. I'm fine. I need to move around or I'll go crazy."

"Nonsense. I'll be right back." She vanished into the kitchen and I lay back looking at the blank screen. I'd been too tired yesterday to really look around but now that I was, I kind of liked Taeyong's quaint little house. It was cosy and small and ...filled with tons of photos of Taeyong and his sister. I scrambled off the chair and browsed the photos displayed on the mantle above the fireplace.

"Oh my god." I whispered to myself. Why the hell would there be a photo of him riding a scooter...while wearing roller blades. It was too ridiculous for words.

"Yah, when Taeyong said you were like a cat, I didn't believe him." His mother said behind me. "Now I see what he meant. Do you ever sit still?"

"Not really... before I played soccer and now I dance. I'm always moving." I told her with a smile. She herded me back to my seat and set down a bowl of porridge in front of me.

"I haven't had porridge since I was like...ten." I said aloud.

"That's why you and my boy are skin and bones." She muttered good-naturedly and left me alone to eat. Skin and bones? I guess Taeyong was a little on the skinny side but I knew that was mostly stress right now. And the crazy schedule we had made him forget to eat constantly; but no. Taeyong was a solid slab of muscle and flesh so perfectly sculpted it barely rippled when you touched him. I groaned to myself when I started getting distracted thinking about his lips and dug into my bowl of porridge. I didn't want his mother to think I was being ungrateful. Just when I was done eating, I heard the pitter-patter of little feet and I gasped when Ruby rounded the corner.

"Ruby. Oh look at you." I slid off the chair far more quickly than my back liked, but she dove into my arms and panted happily as I scratched her little head. She was too adorable.

"How are you, huh? Do you miss Taeyong?" I said in her ear as I held her. She grumbled and nuzzled my hands. "Me too." I answered.

I napped mostly throughout the day. I ignored Taeyong's demand to keep Ruby out of his room and let her sleep next to me on the bed. It was nice to have something warm next to me again. In the evening I sent him a picture of us relaxing in the garden.

TY: So jealous. 😿

YT: Of Ruby of me? 😏

TY: Both. Did you give her a kiss for me? 😙

YT: I save all my kisses for you. 😎

TY: That was so cheesy. 😄

YT: I know. 😛

TY: We have to go on stage. Can I call you after or will you be asleep? 😴

YT: I'll stay up. 😶

TY: Don't. You need to rest. 😳

YT: All I've been doing is rest LOL. 😵
