Jacqueline POV
*click* The camera clicked for what must have been the one hundreth time in the past hour. My best friends Maura and Brooke held the phone to their faces to decide whether or not the picture was instagram worthy. I bent down to adjust the laces on my grey converse before I was pulled up to take yet another picture.
This time Maura adjusted my long dirty blonde hair which she had straigthened just for the occasion. I let her do it even though I know it will be in a messy bun on the top of my head in a few hours. I would be a sweaty mess because I would be enjoying my first R5 concert.
We were standing near Central Park in NYC. The concert started in a few hours but since we drove from New Jersey for the event, we spent the day in the city. I loved it here...the only thing that could make it better was a beach.
We walked down to catch the bus-well they walked, I rode my penny board-and finally it came. There weren't enough seats (5:30 in NYC) so I let Brooke and Maura sit while I stood. I was squeezed in between the back's of a man in a leather jacket and a large mexican man...oh well...I couldn't wait for my first R5 concert!
I had my headphones in, listening to what other people my age called "old" or "weird" music and thought about the upcoming night. All the sudden, the bus made a sharp turn causing many people to fall and let out sounds of shock. I didn't wobble (surfing and skating all summer gave me good balance) and neither did the man in the leather jacket. Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for the large Mexican man. He was practically on top of me and there was nothing I could do to move him.
Luckily, the people around me started to help him up, and once he was on his feet, a hand extended down to me to help me up. I gratefully grabbed it and was whisked to my feet. I looked up to thank the man in the leather jacket and realized I was looking into the gorgeous eyes of Ross Lynch.
