*Start of book 2*

Emily's POV

All I could hear was yelling. Asher and I were watching Netflix, or trying to. Spence and Tatum were fighting, but it had never been this bad before. And the difference this time was that he was the one that was mad.

"I will never be good enough for you, I got that," Spence snapped. Oh no.

"This isn't good." I paused the movie, sitting up.

"Hey, they'll work it out. They always do." Asher wrapped me in his arms, kissing my hair.

"Wow, can we just pretend, for one second, that you're not a complete douchebag?" Tatum hollered. She used that again?

"Oh, come on! You're bringing that back?" Spence cried.

"Oh my god," Asher muttered. "You're right, this is terrible."

"What do we do if they break up?" I asked, looking up at him.

"They're not going to break up. I won't let them. You won't let them. It's not going to happen." He sounded so confident. I wished I was like that.

"You think I'm just going to sit here and let you yell at me?" Tatum shouted. Was she really sitting down during an argument? I was shocked.

"I'm going to go see them." I stood up, leaving the room before Asher could convince me to stay.

"I heard that!" Spence hollered, storming out of her room.

"You were supposed to!" Tatum yelled back. I entered Spence's room before he could, sitting down on his bed and waiting for him.

He joined me in here soon enough, and actually looked surprised to see me. "So what was that about?" I raised my eyebrows. I wasn't worried about testing him.

"I take it you heard," he muttered, sitting down on his chair in the corner, and burying his face in his hands.

"Yeah, most of it. Bits and pieces here and there," I admitted. I chose to stay quiet and let him think for a minute.

"She doesn't love me." He shook his head, sounded almost disgusted. "She's not that stupid."

"Hey, listen to me." I walked over to him, crouched before him and took his hands. "No matter what she did, she does love you. I know she doesn't say it a lot, I've been on the other end of that. But if she didn't love you, she wouldn't be with you."

"No, it's okay," he sighed. "Maybe she needs some time to herself or something. I should go talk to her. I've been on edge lately, and we never fight like that."

"Give her a day," I urged. "I'll go make sure she's okay right now, but let her cool off. Talk to her tomorrow. Besides, Asher's going to need someone to finish that movie with him."

"He's not going to want to cuddle with me," Spence laughed slightly, but I could tell he wasn't in the mood for jokes right now.

"Well, you never know." I grinned. "Come on." I pulled him up and out of the chair, pushing him into Asher's room. "You have a new movie buddy," I called, shutting the door before of them could protest. Next, I stopped by Tatum's room, knocking gently.

"Come in," she said softly, I almost didn't hear her. I opened the door to see her sitting on her bed, hugging her knees to her chest.

"Hey, sweetie." I sat down next to her. She looked so small and innocent. Around me she would let go, but the minute she saw Spence the mask would go up and she would be angry again.

"I think I broke him," she murmured, hugging herself tighter.

"He was going to come talk to you," I told her. At that, she looked up at me, her face hardening. "But I told him to wait," I added. "I just thought you should know that he's on the same page as you."

"He's partly right," she admitted.

"Whoa," I chuckled. "Are you actually saying that someone else is right?"

"I said partly," she said defensively. "But he is. I never tell him I love him and that's the kind of thing people need to hear. I don't even say it to you. I just... can't."

"Yes you can," I whispered. "You just have to make yourself. But for now, take some time to cool off. Go for a walk or something. It's late though, so don't stay out too long."

"Kay," she murmured. I kissed her hair, and left the room. I made my way back to my room, only to find Ash and Spence, laying on their backs on the bed and staring up at the ceiling.

A/N: Hi guys. We're bringing this back. I have a second book and a third book and decided they are entertaining enough to post. At the beginning of each book I have written "start of book (insert number)" just so you don't get confused. Mynx, "Yes asshole, I do care about you." I will see you on Tuesday. Don't forget to make me a quiche as punishment for your lack of content this week.
