Insane Asylum (Natemare/Antisepticeye story)

Seven

A long time passed, Lily not moving from her spot since she figured out that Antisepticeye is real. Natemare tried talking to her, but she said nothing, hearing him leave in a huff.
She wanted to leave, to get the hell out of here, to get away from everything and start over. She's tried, but she always got caught.
Feeling brave enough to stand, she put her ear against the wall that connected her and Sean's room. She heard nothing that sounded as maniacal as Anti...but she swore she's hearing him crying.

"Lily?" She heard him ask, startling her.

"Y-Yeah?"

"You saw him didn't you?"
She swallowed hard. "I was going to check on you...but he showed his face to me...now I don't know who I talk to when I see you.."
She bit her lip after telling the hard truth, tears of her own threatening to come out.

"I get it if you don't want to talk to me...I'll be okay with it..I don't want you getting involved anyway.." Sean said, taking a couple shaky breaths. "I'm so sorry..."

"Lily don't listen to him." Natemare said, appearing behind her. "His dark side could be talking to you.."

"It's not him, Natemare!" Lily snapped. "I know it isn't!"

"How can you be so sure?" He folded his arms. "Just sayin..."

"Lily, who are you talking to?" She heard Sean ask. "Is someone in there with you?"

"Look..trust me, or don't trust me. But I know I'm right..."
He leaned in close to her. "One day it'll happen, Lily. And you won't turn back from it."

"GET OUT!!" Lily yelled, but he was already gone when she whirled around. Ignoring Sean's concerns, she put her head in her hands.

When they were told it's time to eat again, they were all escorted to the mess hall once more. It was 5:30pm on the dot, Lily not feeling all that hungry when everyone else crowded around the food. Deciding not to eat, she sat at the farthest table away from them, still lost in her thoughts.
She wanted to get to the bottom of this...to put an end to Anti from doing what he's doing to Sean. Yet she has no idea how to do that...
What if...what if Natemare was right? What if she's been talking to Anti this whole time? What if Sean is..no longer Sean?
She glanced around, making sure nobody was near her.

"Natemare...you're right.." Lily said, feeling a little different. "I don't think it's Sean anymore...but we gotta figure out how to take care of this...and I can't do it alone.."

A few seconds later, he sat down in front of her. "Huh..change of heart I see."

"I wanna put an end to this...and like I said I can't do it myself.." She said, looking at him in the eyes. "I need your help..do you know anything about this guy that I don't know?"

He smiled. "I do.." Leaning closer to her, Lily didn't pull away. "He's obviously much more insane than you...wanting to kill every day. He likes to think he's the toughest son of a bitch out there..and that he'll do anything to get what he wants. He's basically a demon. And now that he knows about you...he'll try to get to you too."

"But I didn't do a thing to him!" She said.

"Wanting to check on Sean was enough for him to believe you did do something to him." He stated. "Putting an end to him will be tough but..I'll help."

Lily narrowed her eyes. "What's the catch?"
He raised his hands. "No catch. Just me helping."

She saw someone coming near them, and she let out a sigh. "We'll talk more about this later.."

"Sounds good to me.." He said, and vanished into thin air just as Sean sat by her.

"I don't know anybody else here so.." He said, beginning to eat his food.
She shrugged. "It's fine I guess.."

"Look..I know I said this already but I'm sorry you saw that.."

"I know you're sorry." She said, staring at the spot where Natemare was a few seconds ago. "We all have our own demons to face..." She added quietly.

"What?"

Shaking her head, she stood up. "Nothing.." She looked down at him. "I'll talk to you later.."
Without another word, she headed back to her room.

A/N: sorry I took so long to post this chapter! I had major writers block on this for a while but I finally got ideas again for it! Plus a lot of things have happened the last few weeks and I'm doing two other stories as well so please bear with me if it takes a bit to post more again!
