Since the Lams chapter is taking so long, I'm gonna do this.

As soon as I got out of the car, I was picked up bridal style. My arms instinctively wraped around the taller boy's neck.

"Connor, o-oh my God, put me down!" I playfully whined while laughing.

He carried me to the door and put me down. "Freedom!" I yelled. He laughed and lightly shoved my shoulder, making me stumble while he took my keys and unlocked the door.

Connor opened the door and I rushed to get to the couch before him. He beat me, as always. "Victory!" He said, throwing his hand into the air.

I grabbed the remote and switched the TV to Netflix. I looked over at Connor, "Babe, what do you want to watch?"

Jared popped up in the kitchen, "What, honey?"

My boyfriend looked at me, startled. I rolled my eyes, "You know I'm n-not talking to you, Jared. Go to your o-own house."

Jared sighed. "Fine. Nobody ever appreciates my presence," he said while walking out of the house and closing the door.

Connor then smiled at me, "You know exactly what I want to watch, Evan."

I smiled back at him, for I did know. He would want to watch The Princess Bride, like always. It was his favorite movie! I found it in the 'recently watched' category and clicked on it.

I scooted towards Connor on the couch. He wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me toward him. As soon as I was right up against his side, I rested my head against his shoulder.

But then he started to groan. I immediately lifted my head, but his skin stuck to my face and ripped off his shoulder. "Evan.." Connor said. He coughed up blood, followed by  a few intestines. I tried to touch him, but that only caused more skin to fall right off of him.
Suddenly, we were no longer in my living room. We were now in blackness. Only blackness. But I could see him clearly. Connor was the only thing I could see. His hair was now starting to fall out.
I couldn't help him, I knew that. I would only cause him more pain.

More pain.

I sit upright in my bed, not knowing where I am at first. Looking around the dark room, tears start to run down my face. I remember everything.

Connor died that night, when robbers broke in and tried to shoot me. He held onto me. Covered me. Assured me everything would be okay when chaos was around us. It didn't turn out that way.. Instead of me getting shot, it was him. I watched him get shot. He saved me.
It should've been me.

Sorry that was so short, lol.

Also, sorry if there were any spelling or grammar errors.
