Summer Love Wasn't For Us

Part 4

*1 month later*

It was a Friday which meant game days and Emberlynn was getting ready for the away game she had to cheer at she had no idea that her school was about to play Bucky's school. She tied her ribbon in her hair and curled her hair and did her make up and did her glitter and put "Go Bears" on her cheek. 

She got in her jeep and got to the school and got her poms out of her bag and got on the bus. She wasn't paying attention till she saw the school they were at Bucky's school and she whispered "oh shit." 

They got off the bus and she was walking on the field and Steve hit Sam and said "Doesn't that cheerleader look familiar." 

"Oh shit." Sam said 

"I didn't know she was a cheerleader." Clint said. 

They texted the girls and Nat said "Oh this won't be good." as she showed the text to Wanda and Sadie. 

Then they seen her and said "Oh man he's going to die." 

The game started up and nobody told Bucky and they didn't say anything to her either. It wasn't until the 2nd half when Bucky was running up by the cheerleaders when he seen her cheering and almost got himself tackled and he whispered "Emberlynn" as he made a touch down. When the game was over Bucky swallowed hard as he walked over to her and said "You never mentioned you were a cheerleader." 

She looked up and saw him and her eyes filled and he said "Ember." 

"You never mentioned you played football." she said 

"I miss you." he said 

She wiped a tear and said "I miss you too." 

Her dad seen who she was talking to and he whispered "Come on Ember baby I'm tired of you being upset tell him how you feel." 

She said "You look good like this." 

He smiled and said "You look good like this. But I would prefer my colors." 

She smiled and looked down and he said "Emberlynn I was wrong. Summer love isn't for us." 

She looked down and said 'We tried" 

"Yeah well I want to try something else." he said with a smile as he walked over to her and kissed her and as he dropped his helmet and grabbed her cheeks as she dropped her poms. "Take me home.' she whispered 

"You won't get in trouble." he said "Oh wait my jeep is at the school um meet me at my house." 

"Yeah" he said as he kissed her goodbye. 

She left with the other cheerleaders and he ran to the locker room with a smile.
