Bucky meets Emberlynn at the county fair and they find out they are from rival high schools and when summer is over they end their relationship but when their high school football teams play each other she's a cheerleader and seeing him again makes...
The night of their one year anniversary she was officially 3 months pregnant and they went to the fair even though some of the rides she couldn't ride. She was eating funnel cake while sitting in Bucky's lap on the same bench they met at and he said "Happy One year Anniversary Emberlynn Faith Tatum"
She giggled and said "Happy One year baby." as she finished her funnel cake.
"Close your eyes." he whispered in her ear and took her plate away.
She closed her eyes and he whispered in her ear "I love you Emberlynn Faith a year ago today I spotted you getting out of your jeep and all I wanted to was to know who the hot blonde was that I knew didn't go to my school. From that first kiss against your jeep I knew that I wanted you to be my girl. I didn't care that we went to separate schools as the summer went on I started to fall in love with you your smile you gorgeous blue eyes that light up when you smile your strawberry lip gloss that stays on my lips for hours after you leave. It hurt to let you go for that month all I wanted was to drive to your house and tell you that I was sorry for everything that I was wrong and I was so glad that fate stepped in and forced me to do it when I saw you at that game. You my baby doll are the only thing in my world that feels right you make so damn happy. Marry Me baby?' then he opened his ring box and slid her ring on her finger and said "Open your eyes baby."

"Bucky yes.." she said as she opened her eyes.
He smiled and said "I love you baby."
"I love you too." she said.
They told their friends after they found them getting off the tea cup ride.
When August rolled around Bucky and her rode together to her open house she was nervous cause she was already popping out as she was coming up on 5 months. She come out of the bathroom and said "Bucky are you sure that I look ok."
"Baby you look so beautiful it almost looks like the outfit you had when we first met." he said

She laughed and he said "baby I know you are nervous and self conscious right now but you look beautiful to me and that's all that should matter. Our son is growing in you baby."
He placed his hands on his stomach and kissed her and he raised her shirt and kissed her stomach and whispered "Be good to mama tonight." he grabbed her hand and they went upstairs and got in her car. Her dad helped her trade in her jeep for a more of a family car.

On their way to the school she said "So have you thought of a name for him."
"I want him to be able to have a nickname if he wants one." he said
"Well what if we did Joshua James and his nickname could be JJ or um Alexander James and his nick name be AJ or Alex." she said
He smiled and said "I like Joshua James baby."
"Good." she said
They pulled into the school and Nat said "Oh my god they are here. And what in the hell is he driving."
Bucky got out and walked over to the passenger side of the car and let her out. He grabbed her hand and kissed her and said "You know we haven't told them yet."
"I know." she said
Their friends walked over and Sam said "What the hell are you driving Barnes."
"Well first off it's her car she traded in her jeep to get this Toyota Fortuner and there is something else you need to know. Emberlynn and I are having a baby she's due in December." he said
She walked out from behind him and Nat's mouth dropped and said "That's why you have been hiding all summer."
She bit her lip and said "Yeah well we haven't seen much of you all either so it's only fair."
"This is why you gave up football and started working full time." Steve said
"Yup." he said
They started to walk into the school and they showed her which line was hers to get her schedule and then she got her parking pass. Bucky showed her around the school and where her classes were which were all with him except homeroom. They got their lockers and they were talking at his locker when one of his friends said "Hey Barnes where have you been all summer I thought you were going to take us to state senior year too."
Bucky said "I have other things that take top priority guys I'm sorry."
"What is so much more important." he said
He pulled Emberlynn in front of him and said "My girl and my son."
"Barnes you are having a baby." he said
"Yeah. This is my fiancée Emberlynn Tatum. Emberlynn that's Nathan Sawyer and Parker Jones our quarterback and tight end." Bucky said
"Hi it's nice to meet you both." she said
They both said their congratulations and then Bucky and Emberlynn went home. The next day they went back to school shopping and she found herself some clothes that would fit her as she got bigger.
