Lea's POV:
As it turned out, my mom's calculations had been way off.
It took about five hours just to reach the turn off point towards the reserve.
It would take about another two hour's drive to reach the reserve.
I called my mom from my phone and told her to pull over at the turn off, so we could get out and stretch our legs a bit.
My mom quickly agreed. I got out of the car and walked over to lean against the back of the truck next to my mom.
"Three hours, huh?", I asked.
My mom laughed and said, "Sorry, hun, my maths really isn't up to point today, I guess."
I just shook my head with a smile.
That was pretty much it for conversation.
Soon, it started to rain and we quickly hurried back into our cars.
We drove back onto the road and set off to endure the last two hour's drive to the reserve.
I could barely see the road through all the rain.
I hope this isn't how to weather is here everyday, I thought to myself.
After a while I noticed that we were driving into some kind of forest or something.
There were trees everywhere. The leaves and branches of the trees created kind of a canopy high above them.
I started to spot the first houses on the reserve after we'd driven a few more miles.
The houses were all spaced widely apart and all of them had fences around them.I turned my eyes back on the road and watched as my mom's truck drove deeper and deeper in the forest.
Finally, we turned off onto a small dirt path and came to a stop a few steps away for a large and beautiful cabin like house.
I got out of the car and walked towards the steps.
The house looked simply beautiful.
My mom came up the steps and went to open the front door.
Inside it was perfectly decorated, with the most gorgeous carpets and curtains.
Everything looked like a dream.
"We live here?", I asked my mom.
"Yeah. It's nice, isn't it? Let's go check out the rooms."
I followed my mom up the stairs onto a small platform.
The first room was my mom's. It was already fully furnished and the decorator had obvious good taste.
We moved on to the next room.
It was a study or library of some sort. Bookshelves covered almost every wall in the room. There was a gaint, dark oak wood desk near the fireplace. It was all very lavish.
There were some more stairs that went up to the attic.
"This is your new bedroom, Lea. What do you think?"
I could just stand there and stare at the room.
The walls were a dark blue colour, so was the bedding on the bed and the curtains hanging by the window.
There was a desk, made of the same dark oak as the one in the study, against the wall near the window and a very comfy looking peach coloured couch in the corner.
Again, everything screamed of good taste.
"It's beautiful, Mom. I love it.", I finally told her.
My mom smiled and took my hand.
Together, we walked downstairs again and went in search of the kitchen. We were both starving.
I helped my mom with the preparations and then sat and stared at everything around me.

Archer's POV:
"Hey Dad?", I yelled from the porch where I sat and watched the road.
After a minute my dad appeared in the doorway.
"Yeah?", he said as he came out the house, carrying a box.
I nodded my head in the direction of the huge cabin a bit down the road.
"Looks like we got new neighbors. A woman and her daughter by the looks of it.", I said.
My dad snorted and replied, "They're probably rich, high society people if they can afford to live in that place. Go fetch your truck. We probably need to go introduce ourself. "
I smirked before I got up and went around back to the garage.
I got into the truck and drove it to the front of the house.
My dad jumped into the passenger seat and slammed the door.
I turned the truck onto the dirt road and headed towards the other house.
I stopped next to a Jeep and got out.
My dad got out too and walked up to the front door.
I followed, while looking at the two other cars in front of the house.
They looked pretty expensive. I snorted.
Probably some rich, spoiled, high society folks, I thought.
My dad rang the doorbell, while I leaned against the door post with my hands in my pockets.
The door opened and I looked around to see a middle aged woman standing in the doorway.
She was a small, slender woman with short cropped, black hair. Her eyes were a lilac colour and she wrinkles around her eyes.
"Hello. We live next door, so to speak, and we thought we'd stop by and introduce ourselves."
The woman smiled pleasantly and replied,"How nice of you. Come on in. Would you like something to drink? I'm Shannon by the way."
My dad introduced us and shook hands with the lady.
Then I walked behind the woman and my dad to a large sitting room.
"She's a wolf. I can smell it.", I whispered quitely to my dad.
"I know. I smell it too.", he whispered back.
I sat down in one of the armchairs and folded my arms over my chest.
Just then I noticed a beautiful, tall, dark haired girl walk out of the door in front of me.
"This is my daughter, Lea."
Hey all y'all beautiful people. So what did you think about this chapter? Send me your thoughts. Anyway, I gotta run. Got assigned a pile of homework today, so I guess I better get started. Till next time.✌
